近紅外飛秒激光相位掩模法制作光纖布拉格光柵

【摘要】: 全光纖化摻銩光纖激光器在工業(yè)、醫(yī)療、科技及軍事領(lǐng)域具有重要應(yīng)用前景。光纖布拉格光柵(FBG)是構(gòu)成全光纖化光纖激光器的關(guān)鍵器件。基于FBG的光纖激光器具有窄線寬輸出、結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單、性能穩(wěn)定、易于維護(hù)等優(yōu)點(diǎn)。近年來(lái),利用近紅外飛秒激光和相位掩模在非光敏光纖上刻寫(xiě)FBG,引起學(xué)術(shù)界和工程界的廣泛關(guān)注。與利用紫外脈沖激光在光敏光纖上刻寫(xiě)FBG的傳統(tǒng)技術(shù)相比,該方法具有更大的應(yīng)用價(jià)值。本文從理論和實(shí)驗(yàn)兩個(gè)方面對(duì)近紅外飛秒激光相位掩?虒(xiě)FBG技術(shù)進(jìn)行了研究。 在理論方面,本文以光纖光柵的基本方程耦合模理論為基礎(chǔ),分析了正弦折射率調(diào)制型單模均勻FBG的光譜特性,得到了FBG結(jié)構(gòu)參數(shù)對(duì)其性能的影響規(guī)律;模擬了這種折射率調(diào)制形式的二階FBG的反射譜,為實(shí)驗(yàn)上刻寫(xiě)高階FBG提供了理論依據(jù)。為彌補(bǔ)耦合模理論的不足,引入了Rouard這種可以用來(lái)分析非均勻FBG特性的數(shù)值方法,獲得了高斯趾切折射率調(diào)制型FBG的反射光譜。 對(duì)于飛秒激光相位掩模法刻寫(xiě)系統(tǒng)的設(shè)計(jì),主要是以光柵方程和布拉格方程為基礎(chǔ),分析了相位掩模參數(shù)對(duì)刻寫(xiě)用干涉條紋的影響,得到了合理設(shè)計(jì)相位掩模的原則,并計(jì)算出了光纖與相位掩模的最佳距離范圍。搭建了近紅外飛秒激光相位掩?虒(xiě)FBG的實(shí)驗(yàn)系統(tǒng),成功的在摻銩光纖和光敏光纖上刻寫(xiě)FBG,測(cè)量了刻寫(xiě)FBG的反射率和中心波長(zhǎng),FBG的反射率達(dá)到95%以上。 針對(duì)相位掩模法存在的局限性,對(duì)利用透鏡改變相位掩模周期的方法進(jìn)行了理論分析,獲得了FBG波長(zhǎng)隨調(diào)諧參數(shù)變化的趨勢(shì),證明了這種技術(shù)可在一定范圍內(nèi)實(shí)現(xiàn)FBG波長(zhǎng)的連續(xù)可調(diào)。在實(shí)驗(yàn)上,通過(guò)調(diào)整相位掩模與光纖,以及相位掩模與調(diào)諧透鏡的距離,實(shí)現(xiàn)了基于同一塊相位掩模板在較大的波長(zhǎng)范圍內(nèi)制作出了不同中心波長(zhǎng)的FBG,并實(shí)現(xiàn)了激光輸出。 利用刻寫(xiě)得到FBG采用兩種不同的方式實(shí)現(xiàn)了全光纖化光纖激光器,證明了采用泵浦光耦合器方式是以后實(shí)現(xiàn)上百瓦高功率全光纖化光纖激光器最可行的方式。最后,采用全光纖化光纖激光器泵浦Ho:YAP實(shí)現(xiàn)2.1μm脈沖輸出。
[Abstract]:All-fiber thulium doped fiber lasers have important applications in industrial, medical, scientific and military fields. Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is the key device of all-fiber laser. Fiber laser based on FBG has the advantages of narrow linewidth output, simple structure, stable performance and easy maintenance. In recent years, the use of near-infrared femtosecond laser and phase mask to write FBGs on non-FBGs has attracted wide attention in academia and engineering. Compared with the traditional technique of using ultraviolet pulse laser to write Guang Min fiber, this method has more application value. In this paper, the FBG technique of near infrared femtosecond laser phase mask is studied theoretically and experimentally. In theory, based on the fundamental equation coupled mode theory of fiber grating, the spectral characteristics of sinusoidal refractive index modulated single mode uniform FBG are analyzed, and the influence of FBG structure parameters on its performance is obtained. The reflection spectra of the second order FBG with this refractive index modulation form are simulated, which provides a theoretical basis for the experimental writing of high order FBG. In order to make up for the shortage of coupling mode theory, a numerical method called Rouard, which can be used to analyze the properties of nonuniform FBGs, is introduced, and the reflectance spectra of Gao Si digitally index modulated FBGs are obtained. For the design of femtosecond laser phase mask writing system, based on grating equation and Bragg equation, the influence of phase mask parameters on the interference fringes for writing is analyzed, and the principle of reasonable phase mask design is obtained. The optimum distance range between optical fiber and phase mask is calculated. An experimental system of near-infrared femtosecond laser phase mask is set up to write FBGs on thulium doped fiber and Guang Min fiber successfully. The reflectivity of FBG and the reflectivity of central wavelength are measured to be more than 95%. In view of the limitation of phase mask method, the method of changing phase mask period by lens is analyzed theoretically, and the trend of FBG wavelength changing with tuning parameters is obtained. It is proved that the FBG wavelength can be continuously adjustable in a certain range. By adjusting the distance between phase mask and optical fiber, and the distance between phase mask and tuning lens, FBGs with different center wavelengths are fabricated based on the same block phase mask in a large wavelength range, and the laser output is realized. The all-fiber-optic fiber laser is realized by writing FBG in two different ways. It is proved that using pump optical coupler is the most feasible way to realize hundreds of watts of high-power all-fiber-optic fiber laser in the future. Finally, the output of 2.1 渭 m pulse is realized by using an all-fiber laser pumped by Ho: Yap.
