[Abstract]:The Chinese factor in prehistoric Eskimo culture was discovered by American archaeologists in the 1930s. Based on the archaeological findings and research data from 1980s in China, it is concluded that the Chinese factor in the Eskimo culture of the Old Bering Sea is more likely to come from the prehistoric culture of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River than the culture of the Shang and Zhou dynasties mentioned by American scholars. However, the Chinese factor in the Epiotak culture, which is the same as the Eskimo branch of the Old Bering Sea, may be influenced by the factors of Chinese civilization after the Shang and Zhou dynasties. The above data indicate that the influence of cultural factors from west to east has been achieved through the Northeast Asia Corridor linking China to the Bering Strait during the thousands of years of history.
