[Abstract]:The 33rd Annual Conference of Historical and Archaeological Dyes (DHA33) will be held in Glasgow from October 29 to November 1, 2014. The conference, hosted by the Center for Textile Protection and Technical Art History of the University of Glasgow, will include a series of related activities. The Annual Conference of Historical and Archaeological Dyes is devoted to the history of natural dyes, synthetic dyes and organic pigments related to cultural heritage, the latest research and interdisciplinary exchanges in the production, application, identification and preservation of natural dyes, synthetic dyes and organic pigments. A platform for exchanges between scholars and practitioners in the fields of history, archaeology, history of science and technology, preservation of cultural relics, and humanities, arts and folklore.
