失德而后禮——清華簡(jiǎn)《系年》“蔡哀侯取妻于陳”章考論

【摘要】:春秋初年,周室衰微,楚國(guó)崛起。處于其間的"漢陽諸姬",只有依靠自己的聯(lián)合以抵御楚國(guó),而其聯(lián)系紐帶則為周禮。據(jù)《左傳》、《史記》與清華簡(jiǎn)《系年》的記載,楚國(guó)興起的關(guān)鍵性事件,是由息媯引出的楚、蔡、息三國(guó)之爭(zhēng)。對(duì)于此事解讀,今本《左傳》所載之"君子曰"單方面的責(zé)蔡侯以惡,乃純粹道德批判。事實(shí)上,息媯故事之本末,涉及諸多禮制問題。其基本點(diǎn)在于由息媯引發(fā)的婚制糾紛。在此視野中,清華簡(jiǎn)《系年》"妻之"一語與《左傳》"弗賓"的記載,乃不同思想脈絡(luò)中對(duì)同一事件的相異性描述。蔡侯本意,是依據(jù)周禮媵婚制,將"息媯"看作蔡媯媵娣,對(duì)此《系年》與《左傳》皆不認(rèn)同而處理方式相異!蹲髠鳌肥蔷杏诙Y的觀念,例蔡侯以"弗賓",此其所以為近經(jīng);《系年》則是仍然實(shí)錄蔡侯行為,"妻之",此其所以為近史。而蔡侯的循禮而行,致使息侯無法以"非禮"的口實(shí)伐蔡。至此,位列漢陽諸姬的息國(guó),最終自亂同姓之誼,將目光轉(zhuǎn)向禮樂之外,主動(dòng)引入楚王干預(yù)。據(jù)此而論,周禮崩壞的一個(gè)重要環(huán)節(jié)在于禮樂的制度形式仍然存在,卻失去了貴族精神內(nèi)在德性的支撐。處于華夏文明外圍的楚國(guó)也正是在這一背景下逐步強(qiáng)大,開始蠶食中原諸侯。
[Abstract]:In the early years of Spring and Autumn, the Zhou Dynasty declined and the State of Chu rose. Hanyang Zhuji, who is in the middle, only relies on his own union to resist the Chu state, and its link is Zhou Li. According to "Zuo Zhuan", "Records of the History" and "the year of Qing Hua", the key event of the rise of Chu is the struggle among Chu, Cai and Xi. As to the interpretation of this matter, the unilateral accusation of evil by Cai Hou, contained in Zuo Zhuan, is pure moral criticism. In fact, the nature of the story of interest, involving a number of etiquette issues. The basic point lies in the marriage disputes caused by interest. In this field of vision, the words "wife's wife" and "Zuo Zhuan" are different descriptions of the same event in different ideological context. According to Zhou Li's concubine system, Cai Hou Ben's intention was to regard "Xi Gui Gui Di" as Cai Gui-hui Di, and to deal with it differently than "Zuo Zhuan". The idea of "Zuo Zhuan] is a formal concept." Cai Hou uses "Fubin", which is regarded as the near Sutra; "Department year" is still record the behavior of Cai Hou, "wife", this is a recent history. Cai Hou's courteous behavior, resulting in the interest Hou can not be "indecent assault" of the name of Cai. At this point, ranked Hanyang Zhuji Xiguo, eventually disorderly friends, turned their eyes outside the ceremony and music, actively introduced the intervention of the King of Chu. Therefore, an important link of Zhou Li's collapse is that the system of etiquette and music still exists, but it loses the support of noble spirit's inner virtue. Chu, which is located in the periphery of Chinese civilization, began to encroach on the rulers of the Central Plains.
