[Abstract]:In 1900, about 50,000 ancient manuscripts were found in the Dunhuang Sutra Cave, some of which were completely different from the writing characteristics of the brush. Since then, these books have been identified as hard books, such as bamboo and wooden pens, which were later rewritten. About 20,000 pages of film. Since 1906, when the bamboo and wooden pen was first unearthed, in Dunhuang, Xinjiang, Wuwei and other northwest regions of China, nearly 10 bamboo and wooden pens were unearthed successively from the Western Han Dynasty to the Western Xia Dynasty. In addition, a mural was also found in Xinjiang. The characters in the painting have the same writing tools as the bamboo pen unearthed. Bamboo and wood pen was originally only recorded in classical literature, but it is the first time to find it in Dunhuang and other areas in Northwest China, and there is no such kind of bamboo and wood pen or book trace in Central Plains area so far. Based on the case study of bamboo and wood pen unearthed, this paper discusses some problems of bamboo and wood pen in Dunhuang by combing and interpreting the literature, including the study of the identity of the writer of bamboo and wood pen, the function of bamboo and wood pen. Why bamboo pen only appears in Dunhuang area and so on.
