【摘要】：2016年5月19日,美國孟菲斯大學(xué)歷史系彼得·布蘭德(Peter Brand)教授,應(yīng)邀在中國社會科學(xué)院考古研究所作了題為"作為外交官的法老:拉美西斯二世和青銅時代晚期的赫梯帝國"的學(xué)術(shù)講座。講座由中國社會科學(xué)院考古研究所副所長陳星燦研究員主持,中國社會科學(xué)院世界歷史研究所劉健研究員擔(dān)任翻譯。來自中國社會科學(xué)院、北京大學(xué)、東北師范大學(xué)和首都師范大學(xué)等單位的50多名研究者蒞臨此次學(xué)術(shù)講座。彼得·布蘭德教授是國際著名埃及學(xué)家,對古埃及新王國時期的歷史和文化有深入研究,發(fā)表過許多重要的學(xué)術(shù)論著。目前正在從事埃及盧克索市卡納科神廟多柱大廳銘文和浮雕的研究,是"卡納科多柱大廳考古項(xiàng)目"主持人。此次講座,他對公元前1258年埃及和赫梯帝國簽訂和平條約的時代背景和內(nèi)在動因進(jìn)行了合情合理的分析。本文系葛人先生根據(jù)布蘭德先生的講稿翻譯。
[Abstract]:Professor Peter Brandn, Department of History, University of Memphis, 19 May 2016, He was invited to give a lecture at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences entitled "Pharaoh as a diplomat: Ramses II and the late Bronze Age Hittite Empire." The lecture was moderated by Chen Xingcan, deputy director of the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and translated by Liu Jian, Institute of World History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. More than 50 researchers from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Northeast normal University and Capital normal University attended the lecture. Professor Peter Brand is an international famous Egyptologist who has deeply studied the history and culture of the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt and published many important academic works. Currently engaged in the study of inscriptions and reliefs in the multi-column hall of the Kanako Temple in Luxor, Egypt, he is the host of the Archaeological Project of the Canakodo Hall. In this lecture, he made a reasonable analysis of the background and internal causes of the signing of the peace treaty between Egypt and the Hittite Empire in 1258 BC.
