【摘要】：成敬為明陜西耀州(今陜西省銅川市耀州區(qū))人,永樂間進士。曾在晉王府任職,受晉王謀反牽連受宮刑成為宦官。后在愓王府任職。土木之變(1449)后,愓王登基,成敬升為內(nèi)官監(jiān)太監(jiān)。景泰五年(1454)卒于任。對于成敬考中進士的時間,文獻記載不一,本文綜合各方面資料,認為《明清進士題名碑》所載為是。同時還對成敬的履歷、社會關(guān)系、成敬墓志的書撰人以及明代的宦官制度等方面做了考證。
