一個有效的鐵路運輸系統(tǒng)可以促進任何國家的社會和經(jīng)濟發(fā)展,因為它可以作為所有其他經(jīng)濟部門增長的催化劑。世界各地都有重大的鐵路現(xiàn)代化,使其在刺激經(jīng)濟增長和發(fā)展方面發(fā)揮有效作用。但是尼日利亞的鐵路發(fā)展在過去五十年中一直保持不變,并且缺乏滿足大量人口的交通需求的能力。在英國殖民時期多年的卓越表現(xiàn)后,尼日利亞的鐵路開始在獨立后經(jīng)歷衰落。雖然第一條鐵路建設(shè)于1898年在100多年前開始,多年來在鐵路上投入了大量資金,但尼日利亞缺乏高效的鐵路服務(wù)。尼日利亞鐵路公司目前面臨著許多問題和挑戰(zhàn)。缺乏有效的鐵路運輸基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施給道路運輸工具施加了壓力,導(dǎo)致公路基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和道路交通事故大量惡化。這項研究的重點是尼日利亞政府在改善公共鐵路運輸方面的作用。目前在尼日利亞鐵路系統(tǒng)進行的研究更多地關(guān)注私人參與,需要進一步研究政府可以改善鐵路運輸服務(wù)的可能方式。本文旨在填補這一空白,因為目前關(guān)于解決鐵路運輸子行業(yè)目前面臨的問題的解決方案只有一些建議,而迄今為止尚未對解釋政府在這方面的作用進行研究。為了達到上述目標,本研究采用案例研究方法。研究問題解決了尼日利亞鐵路的問題。定性和定量數(shù)據(jù)均來自一手和二手數(shù)據(jù)來源。通過與政府鐵路...
