【摘要】：新加坡在二戰(zhàn)后經(jīng)歷了飛速的經(jīng)濟(jì)社會發(fā)展,其發(fā)展模式在備受推崇和模仿(特別是發(fā)展中國家)的同時,也遭到一些學(xué)者(如阿·瑪?shù)賮喩?的批評。本文試圖去揭示人民行動黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下的新加坡發(fā)展政策中的實用主義特質(zhì),并探究它形成的原因、具體的表現(xiàn)、影響以及社會的反應(yīng)。本文認(rèn)為人民行動黨的近乎意識形態(tài)的實用主義理論深受戰(zhàn)后初期的時代背景的影響,也與李光耀個人的性格和價值觀息息相關(guān)。這種實用主義政策是一個綜合的社會工程,這項工程高度強(qiáng)調(diào)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的優(yōu)先性,社會其他方面的元素,如文化、教育、政治參與等則顯得次要,它們必須為經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展服務(wù)并隨時作好犧牲的準(zhǔn)備。本文認(rèn)為這體現(xiàn)了一種片面的發(fā)展觀,它因為忽視前述的元素而不利于個人自由的發(fā)展。自上世紀(jì)八十年代以來的新加坡的社會反抗證實了這種實用主義政策的缺陷,也預(yù)示了這種政策的衰落。
[Abstract]:Singapore experienced rapid economic and social development after World War II, and its development model was praised and imitated (especially in developing countries), but also criticized by some scholars (such as A. Mathieyassen). This paper attempts to reveal the pragmatic characteristics of Singapore's development policy under the leadership of the people's Action Party, and to explore the reasons for its formation, its specific performance, influence and social reaction. This paper holds that the pragmatism theory of the people's Action Party (PAP) is deeply influenced by the background of the era in the early postwar period and is closely related to Li Guangyao's personal character and values. This pragmatism policy is a comprehensive social project, which places great emphasis on the priority of economic development, while other elements of society, such as culture, education, political participation, etc., are of secondary importance. They must serve economic development and be ready to sacrifice at any time. This paper argues that this reflects a one-sided view of development, which is not conducive to the development of individual freedom because it ignores the aforementioned elements. Singapore's social revolt since the 1980 s confirmed the shortcomings of this pragmatic policy and heralded its decline.
