[Abstract]:With the rise of social media such as Facebook and Twitter, Germany's "social media manager" career has emerged in the public eye. The latest survey by BITKOM3, a German IT industry association, showed that 16 percent of the 854 companies surveyed had full-time social media workers, up from 10.0 in 2011.
