[Abstract]:The Socialist International held its 24th Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, from August 30th 2012 to September 2nd, this time around the theme "for a new internationalism and a new culture of solidarity". The following topics were discussed: solutions to the financial crisis; Development of new forms of democracy on the basis of freedom and equality; Promoting peace, sustainable development and cooperation through multilateralism; To build a new internationalism and a new culture of solidarity. The main contents of this conference are summarized below. August 30th 2012 to September 2nd. Socialist International held its 24th Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, attended by more than 400 delegates from more than 130 political parties and organizations around the world. The Socialist International Congress is held every four years. This is the first time in the international history of the Socialist Party that the Congress was held in Africa.
