[Abstract]:On May 5, 2017, the C919, the first jet trunk passenger plane independently developed in China, successfully flew for the first time. This is a major achievement made under the strong leadership and cordial care of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core. It is an important milestone in the development of aviation industry in China. Since the 18th National Congress of the Party, the CPC Committee has resolutely implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important directives on the cause of large aircraft, and has given full play to the leading and political core roles of CPC committees. The combat fortress role of the Party branch and the vanguard and exemplary role of the Party members will run the Party strictly through the whole process of the development of the large aircraft.
