【摘要】：正近日因政協(xié)記者會上關(guān)于"任性"一詞的英譯,引發(fā)不少爭議�，F(xiàn)場口譯張蕾,把發(fā)言人所講的"任性",譯為capncious,獲得許多網(wǎng)民的點贊。但《中華讀書報》發(fā)表的王晴佳教授的文章,卻認為,發(fā)言人此處的原意是"反腐一致",譯成貶義的capncious,是"欠妥的,甚至是錯誤"。認為應該譯為detemined,persistent或者unswerving。"任性"一詞,《現(xiàn)代漢語詞典》的釋義是:放任自己的性子,不加約束。香港
[Abstract]:Recently, there has been a lot of controversy over the English translation of the word "wayward" at a press conference of the Chinese people's political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Zhang Lei, a live interpreter, translated the spokesman's capricious remarks into capncious, and won the likes of many netizens. However, Professor Wang Qingjia's article published in the China Book Reading Daily believes that the spokesman's original intention here is "anti-corruption consistency", and that the derogatory capncious, is "defective or even wrong." It is believed that the word detemined,persistent or unswerving. should be translated into the word "wayward". The interpretation of Modern Chinese Dictionary is to let go of one's own nature and leave it unconstrained. Hong Kong
