[Abstract]:At a price of 35.00 yuan in the late Ming Dynasty, a wide variety of "things" played an important role in the Chinese culture that they had never enjoyed in the past, concerning the classification, use, evaluation, and unease or appreciation of things. It has become a topic of concern to scholars in the late Ming Dynasty. The book takes Wen Zhenheng's "chronicles of long things" in the Ming Dynasty as an example. It cuts into the history of art from the perspective of articles. At the same time, it also crosses the boundaries of the subject and, referring to the theory of social culture, discusses the "superfluous things" of the Ming Dynasty-painting, calligraphy, bronze ware, and porcelain.
