【摘要】：正1845年9月1日,華花圣經(jīng)書房在寧波江北岸盧氏宗祠投入使用,這是外國人在中國大陸經(jīng)營的首批印刷企業(yè)之一(1860年遷滬后稱美華書館)。書房在甬開辦14年余,共印刷51 755 428頁,出書1 330 686冊,使寧波成為外國教會印刷出版中文書刊的一個中心。其印刷數(shù)量僅次于上海,遠(yuǎn)高于廣州、福州、廈門。在寧波出版的書籍有103種,其中屬于基督教方面的有85種,屬于天文、地理、物理、歷史、旅游等方面的有18種。
[Abstract]:On September 1, 1845, the study of Hua Hua Bible was put into use in Lu's ancestral Hall on the north bank of Ningbo River, which was one of the first printing enterprises operated by foreigners in mainland China. The study opened in Ningbo for more than 14 years, printing 51,755,428 pages and publishing 1,330,686 volumes, making Ningbo a center for foreign churches to print and publish Chinese books and periodicals. Its printing quantity is second only to Shanghai, far higher than Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Xiamen. There are 103 kinds of books published in Ningbo, of which 85 belong to Christianity, 18 to astronomy, geography, physics, history and tourism.
