【摘要】：舒新城是活躍在我國二十世紀(jì)二十年代至六十年代的教育家、出版家和辭書家。他將一生奉獻(xiàn)給教育與出版,其教育救國的思想,至今仍閃耀著時(shí)代的光輝；其通達(dá)歷練的用人策略,即算是放在現(xiàn)代出版企業(yè)中也是毫不遜色的；其主持編輯的《辭�！犯情_創(chuàng)了我國辭書史上的新河。 對于舒新城后半生的編輯出版實(shí)踐活動和思想研究,一直為后人所忽略。本文擬從舒新城的教育生涯入手,解讀舒新城早期為人們所忽略的編輯出版活動,挖掘其轉(zhuǎn)變的內(nèi)在原因,并通過原始真實(shí)資料的再現(xiàn),全面系統(tǒng)地回顧舒新城后半生作為編輯出版家的實(shí)踐活動,同時(shí),首次對舒新城的編輯出版思想進(jìn)行剖析研究。 全文分為五個(gè)章節(jié)。 第一章,對舒新城編輯出版思想研究的目標(biāo)和意義進(jìn)行研究,對其研究現(xiàn)狀進(jìn)行梳理,并對舒新城生平進(jìn)行了簡單的回顧。 第二章,舒新城以教育救國為理想,投身到教育界進(jìn)行教學(xué)實(shí)踐活動,并出版了一系列的相關(guān)書籍。舒新城對于教育的貢獻(xiàn)主要在于推行實(shí)踐了美國的“道爾頓制”,早年的從教經(jīng)歷及“道爾頓制”的推廣極大地豐富了舒新城的教學(xué)實(shí)踐,他以教育者的角度對中國當(dāng)代教育進(jìn)行深思,陸續(xù)出版了有關(guān)教育現(xiàn)狀、教育歷史、“道爾頓制”研究的著述。在這一時(shí)期,他的編輯出版思想主要體現(xiàn)在教育救國的出版理想、此時(shí)此地的編輯精神、正名辨物的編輯態(tài)度和分門別類的編輯方法等四個(gè)方面。 第三章,舒新城在人生的后半時(shí)期完成了由一個(gè)著名教育家向資深出版人的成功轉(zhuǎn)變,并將后半生的歲月,全部獻(xiàn)給中國的編輯出版事業(yè)。他創(chuàng)刊了大型時(shí)事性雜志《新中華》,主編了“國防叢書”、“大學(xué)用書”、“世界文學(xué)名著”、“中華百科叢書”等大型書籍,影印了《古今圖書集成》,同時(shí),傾力打造出銘刻于中國辭書史冊的《辭海》。在這一系列的編輯出版活動中,舒新城凜然公正的愛國精神、兼采中西的出版理念和通達(dá)歷練的用人策略得到充分的體現(xiàn)。 第四章,’建國之后,舒新城由于先前的出版成就和社會影響,擔(dān)任了多種出版和社會職務(wù)。其后期對于出版最大的貢獻(xiàn)及最主要的活動,在于向毛主席提出修訂《辭�！�,并親自主持修訂工作。其與時(shí)俱進(jìn)的思想在對《辭�！返男抻喼械靡泽w現(xiàn)。 第五章,通過全文的分析,得出舒新城思想對現(xiàn)代出版事業(yè)的啟示：愛國之于出版,血脈相連；學(xué)術(shù)之于出版,融會貫通；人才之于出版,相輔相成。舒新城一生都活躍在教育界和出版界的舞臺上,其從教經(jīng)歷和時(shí)代背景給他帶來了深刻的影響,他的出版成就離不開教育救國的理想。同時(shí)其淵博的學(xué)識和通達(dá)的用人制度也對他的成就起到了重要作用。
[Abstract]:Shu Xincheng is an educator, publisher and dictioneer active in the 1920s and 1960s. He devoted his whole life to education and publishing, and his thought of saving the country from education still shines with the brilliance of the times, and his experienced employment strategy is not inferior to that of modern publishing enterprises. Cihai, which presided over the editing, opened up a new river in the history of Chinese dictionaries. The practice of editing and publishing in the latter half of Shu Xincheng has been neglected by later generations. Starting with the educational career of Shu Xincheng, this paper attempts to interpret the editing and publishing activities neglected by people in the early period of Shu Xincheng, to dig out the internal reasons for its transformation, and to reproduce the original and true materials. This paper reviews the practical activities of Shu Xincheng as an editor and publisher in the latter half of his life. At the same time, it analyzes and studies Shu Xincheng's thought of editing and publishing for the first time. The full text is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the aim and significance of the study of Shu Xincheng's editorial and publishing thoughts are studied, the present research situation is combed, and the life history of Shu Xincheng is briefly reviewed. In the second chapter, Shu Xincheng devoted himself to teaching practice and published a series of books. Shu Xincheng's contribution to education mainly lies in the practice of "Dalton system" in the United States. The early teaching experience and the promotion of "Dalton system" greatly enriched the teaching practice of Shu Xincheng. From the angle of educators, he pondered over the contemporary education in China and published some works on the present situation of education, the history of education and the study of Dalton system. In this period, his thought of editing and publishing was mainly embodied in four aspects: the ideal of educating and saving the nation, the spirit of editing here and now, the editorial attitude of the right name and the editorial method of classification. In the third chapter, Shu Xincheng completed the successful transformation from a famous educator to a senior publisher in the second half of his life, and devoted the latter half of his life to the editorial and publishing career in China. He founded a large current affairs magazine, New China, edited the National Defense Series, University Books, World Literary Masterpieces, Chinese Encyclopedia, and other large books, photocopying the Integration of Ancient and Modern Books, and at the same time, Pour efforts to create the engraved in the history of Chinese dictionaries, "Cihai". In this series of editing and publishing activities, the patriotic spirit of Shuxin City, the publishing concept of China and the West and the employment strategy of understanding and experience have been fully reflected. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Shu Xincheng held various publishing and social positions because of his previous publishing achievements and social influence. The most important contribution to the publication in his later period is to propose the amendment to Chairman Mao and to personally chair the revision. His thought of keeping pace with the times can be reflected in the revision of ci Hai. The fifth chapter, through the analysis of the full text, draws the enlightenment of Shu Xincheng's thought to modern publishing: patriotism in publishing, blood link; academic in publishing, integration; talent in publishing, complementary. Shu Xincheng was active on the stage of education and publishing all his life. His teaching experience and background brought him a profound influence. His publishing achievements could not be separated from the ideal of education and national salvation. At the same time, his profound knowledge and knowledgeable employment system also played an important role in his achievements.
