【摘要】：上海無疑是中國(guó)近代出版業(yè)的中心,這一中心地位一方面來源于其覆蓋性影響,另一方面因其對(duì)近代出版業(yè)品格的塑造。太平天國(guó)運(yùn)動(dòng)從人才、市場(chǎng)、理念等多個(gè)方面為上海近代文化市場(chǎng)的興起準(zhǔn)備了條件。東南地區(qū)的傳統(tǒng)士紳為避難而匯聚上海租界謀求新的出路,新興出版業(yè)成為一個(gè)主要選擇。而在出版業(yè)領(lǐng)域起決定性作用的是19世紀(jì)90年代科舉正途出身的士紳階層,特別是像張?jiān)獫?jì)、汪康年這樣從傳統(tǒng)士紳階層分化出來的知識(shí)精英。不同于1843年上海開埠后較早參與出版業(yè)的口岸知識(shí)分子,以謀生為主要取向,傳統(tǒng)士紳將歷來的家國(guó)情懷注入新興出版業(yè),以啟迪民智作為追求,不僅改變了當(dāng)時(shí)上海出版業(yè)的格局,且形成了具有中國(guó)特色的出版品格。
[Abstract]:Shanghai is undoubtedly the center of China's modern publishing industry. This central position derives from its influence on coverage on the one hand, and on the other hand, on the other hand, on the one hand, on the other hand, because of its shaping of the character of the modern publishing industry. Ideas and other aspects have prepared conditions for the rise of Shanghai's modern cultural market. The traditional gentry in southeast China gathered in Shanghai concession to seek a new outlet for refuge. The emerging publishing industry became a major choice. In 1890s, the gentry, especially Zhang Yuanji, played a decisive role in the publishing industry. Unlike the port intellectuals who took part in the publishing industry earlier after the opening of the port in Shanghai in 1843, the traditional gentry took a livelihood as the main orientation, and the traditional gentry injected the traditional feelings of home and country into the new publishing industry. The pursuit of enlightening the people not only changed the pattern of Shanghai publishing industry at that time, but also formed the publishing character with Chinese characteristics.
