塔那西斯·科茨（Ta-Nehisi Coates）是當(dāng)代黑人美國作家,大西洋月刊的國家通訊記者,其代表作《在世界與我之間》（Between the World and Me）于2015年出版并在同年獲得美國國家圖書獎。這部作品以書信的形式,講述了自己身為美國黑人的感受,描述了所有黑人共同面臨的殘酷現(xiàn)實,揭露出普遍存在的隱性的種族歧視,并因此引發(fā)了又一次關(guān)于種族問題的廣泛討論,因而具有一定的研究價值。作品中科茨將種族矛盾聚焦于身體層面的改造和摧毀,因此本文將研究重點放在身體及其象征意義上。結(jié)合文本與特里·伊格爾頓的身體政治批評理論,本文分析了統(tǒng)治階級如何將意識形態(tài)根植于黑人體內(nèi),從而實現(xiàn)對黑人的規(guī)訓(xùn)和壓迫,以及黑人如何利用身體與意識形態(tài)的互動進行反抗。首先,本文從身體的三種不同的呈現(xiàn)形式——勞動的身體、性的身體和人際交往中的身體出發(fā),并以黑人身體為關(guān)注的重心,同時結(jié)合文本中的具體實例（監(jiān)禁、暴力、服飾文化等）進行進一步的闡釋,展示種族之間和種族內(nèi)部的生存現(xiàn)狀。其次,本文從統(tǒng)治階級——白人的角度,并結(jié)合身體的三種不同的呈現(xiàn)形式進行剖析,剖析統(tǒng)治階級如何從階級劃分、審美和文化以及法律政策等三...
