空間光耦合平衡探測器設(shè)計與測試

【摘要】:星地空間相干光通信中,受大氣湍流及空間光耦合效率因素的影響,要實現(xiàn)高速率、高探測靈敏度的通信變得異常困難。針對星地空間相干光通信鏈路中空間光耦合較難的問題,提出了采用大面積平衡探測器來提高探測靈敏度的方法。通過分析平衡探測技術(shù)的原理及平衡探測器結(jié)構(gòu),設(shè)計了一種探測面直徑為100μm、工作速率為5 Gbps的平衡探測器,搭建了空間相干光通信測試平臺。在5 Gbps通信速率下,探測器的直接探測靈敏度達到-18.6 dBm,相干探測靈敏度達到-43.89 dBm,共模抑制比高于38.5 dB。測試結(jié)果驗證了該空間光耦合平衡探測器用于空間相干光通信的可行性。
[Abstract]:Due to the influence of atmospheric turbulence and space-light coupling efficiency, it is very difficult to achieve high rate and high detection sensitivity in space-to-ground coherent optical communication. Aiming at the difficult problem of space optical coupling in space-ground space coherent optical communication link, a method to improve detection sensitivity by using a large area balance detector is proposed. By analyzing the principle of balanced detection technology and the structure of balanced detector, a balanced detector with a diameter of 100 渭 m and a working rate of 5 Gbps is designed, and a testing platform for spatial coherent optical communication is built. At 5 Gbps communication rate, the direct detection sensitivity of the detector reaches -18.6 dBm, coherent detection sensitivity to -43.89 dBm, common-mode rejection ratio higher than 38.5 dB.. The test results verify the feasibility of the spatial optical coupling balance detector for spatial coherent optical communication.
