窄視角藍相液晶顯示器

【摘要】:基于克爾效應的聚合物穩(wěn)定藍相液晶顯示器被設計出窄視角顯示模式,用于公共場所下私人信息的保護。通過使用幾個簡單的單軸膜,聚合物穩(wěn)定藍相液晶顯示器就可以呈現(xiàn)出極佳的窄視角效果,即,對比度大于10°的可視區(qū)在20°極角范圍內。此外,該顯示器的驅動電壓為14V,最大透過率為71%,不僅滿足了當前主流非晶硅薄膜晶體管的驅動需求,還進一步提高了背光源的光利用率。本文提出的窄視角藍相液晶顯示器與傳統(tǒng)的窄視角模式相比較而言,沒有復雜的電極結構以及繁瑣的補償方案,較3M公司的保護膜而言,具有生產(chǎn)成本低的優(yōu)勢,這些優(yōu)勢使其具備了在工業(yè)上生產(chǎn)的條件。在信息時代,窄視角液晶顯示器將在防止私人信息的泄露上扮演越來越重要的作用。
[Abstract]:A polymer stabilized blue liquid crystal display based on Kerr effect is designed for the protection of private information in public places. By using a few simple uniaxial films, the polymer stabilized blue liquid crystal displays an excellent narrow angle of view, that is, the visible region with contrast greater than 10 擄is in the range of 20 擄polar angle. In addition, the drive voltage of the display is 14V and the maximum transmittance is 71.This not only meets the driving requirements of the current mainstream amorphous silicon thin film transistors, but also further improves the light utilization ratio of the backlight source. Compared with the traditional narrow-angle liquid crystal display, the narrow-angle blue-phase liquid crystal display presented in this paper has no complex electrode structure and complicated compensation scheme, and has the advantage of lower production cost than the 3M company's protective film. These advantages give it the conditions for industrial production. In the information age, narrow-angle LCD will play an increasingly important role in preventing the leakage of private information.
