無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)的差異化比特錯(cuò)誤率估計(jì)方法

【摘要】:在無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)中,比特錯(cuò)誤率(bit error rate,BER)的估計(jì)是許多上層協(xié)議的基礎(chǔ),對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)傳輸?shù)男阅芫哂兄匾挠绊?目前已成為一個(gè)重要的研究課題.但是現(xiàn)有BER估計(jì)編碼未考慮實(shí)際網(wǎng)絡(luò)的BER分布特征,估計(jì)誤差較大.在實(shí)測(cè)分析802.11無(wú)線網(wǎng)絡(luò)的BER分布特征的基礎(chǔ)上,提出了一種采用差異化思想來(lái)提高BER估計(jì)準(zhǔn)確度的方法差異化估錯(cuò)碼(differentiated error estimation,DEE),其主要思想是在數(shù)據(jù)包中插入具有不同估錯(cuò)能力的多級(jí)估錯(cuò)位,并隨機(jī)均勻地分布各估錯(cuò)位.然后,借助BER與奇偶校驗(yàn)錯(cuò)誤概率的理論關(guān)系來(lái)估計(jì)BER.此外,DEE利用BER非均勻分布特征來(lái)優(yōu)化各級(jí)估錯(cuò)位的能力,提高出現(xiàn)概率較高的BER的估計(jì)準(zhǔn)確度,以降低平均估計(jì)誤差.在7個(gè)節(jié)點(diǎn)組成的測(cè)試床上評(píng)價(jià)了DEE的性能.實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,與最近的研究成果估錯(cuò)碼(error estimation code,EEC)相比,DEE可將估計(jì)誤差平均減少約44%.當(dāng)估錯(cuò)冗余較低時(shí)DEE可將估計(jì)誤差減少約68%.此外,DEE具有比EEC更小的估計(jì)偏差.
[Abstract]:In wireless networks, bit error rate (bit error rate,BER) estimation is the basis of many upper layer protocols, which has an important impact on the performance of data transmission, and has become an important research topic. However, the existing BER estimation codes do not take into account the BER distribution characteristics of the actual network, and the estimation error is large. Based on the analysis of BER distribution in 802.11 wireless network, This paper presents a method of improving the accuracy of BER estimation using differential estimation method (differentiated error estimation,DEE). The main idea of the method is to insert multilevel estimation mislocations with different error-estimation capabilities into data packets and distribute them randomly and evenly. Then, the BER. is estimated by the theoretical relation between BER and parity error probability. In addition, DEE optimizes the ability of estimating mislocations at all levels by using the non-uniform distribution of BER, and improves the estimation accuracy of BER with higher occurrence probability, so as to reduce the average estimation error. The performance of DEE was evaluated on a test bed composed of seven nodes. The experimental results show that (error estimation code,EEC can reduce the estimated error by about 44% on average. When the error redundancy is low, DEE can reduce the estimation error by 68%. In addition, DEE has a smaller estimation deviation than EEC.
