基于HEVC的深度視頻編碼研究

【摘要】:深度視頻在基于多視點(diǎn)加深度(MVD)格式的立體視頻系統(tǒng)中起著重要的作用,在編碼彩色視頻之外編碼對(duì)應(yīng)的深度視頻可以使立體視頻系統(tǒng)利用基于深度的虛擬視點(diǎn)繪制技術(shù)(DIBR)生成任意視點(diǎn)的視頻,從而以較小的處理代價(jià)高效地向觀看者提供立體感知。然而,視頻編碼過程給深度視頻帶來的噪聲會(huì)造成虛擬視點(diǎn)質(zhì)量的下降,需要結(jié)合其特性找到一種新的深度視頻編碼方法。此外由于MVD中的深度視頻與對(duì)應(yīng)的彩色視頻采集于同一場景,具有高度的相關(guān)性。因此,深度視頻可以利用已編碼的彩色信息輔助編碼。本文深入研究了深度圖的特性,提出了一種針對(duì)深度視頻編碼的基于區(qū)域的三邊濾波器來提升編碼質(zhì)量。首先將深度圖分成多個(gè)區(qū)域并對(duì)每個(gè)區(qū)域賦予一個(gè)分割標(biāo)簽。然后,為了達(dá)到去除噪聲并保持邊緣尖銳性的目的,每個(gè)像素利用與其屬于同一區(qū)域的臨近像素進(jìn)行濾波。在HEVC平臺(tái)下對(duì)所提出的方法采用3D視頻序列進(jìn)行了驗(yàn)證,實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明視頻質(zhì)量在同比特率下有了一定的提升。在利用彩色視頻和深度之間的相關(guān)性方面,本文提出一種聯(lián)合彩色信息的多視點(diǎn)深度視頻視差矢量預(yù)測(cè)方法。該方法首先獲得當(dāng)前編碼深度塊對(duì)應(yīng)位置的彩色塊,提取彩色塊預(yù)測(cè)得到的視差矢量作為深度塊的一個(gè)候選視差矢量。然后,利用深度塊信息計(jì)算得到另一個(gè)候選視差矢量。最后,對(duì)兩個(gè)候選視差矢量通過計(jì)算下采樣均方差,選擇更精確的一個(gè)作為當(dāng)前深度塊的視差矢量預(yù)測(cè)值。在3D-HEVC編碼平臺(tái)下進(jìn)行了驗(yàn)證,實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明所提出的方法提高了編碼性能。
[Abstract]:Depth video plays an important role in stereo video system based on multi-view and depth MVD format.Coding the corresponding depth video in addition to the coded color video enables the stereo video system to generate arbitrary view video using the depth-based virtual viewpoint rendering technique, thus providing stereo perception to the viewer efficiently at a lower processing cost.However, the noise brought by the video coding process will lead to the degradation of the virtual view quality, so we need to find a new depth video coding method combined with its characteristics.In addition, the depth video in MVD is highly correlated with the corresponding color video in the same scene.Thus, depth video can be encoded using encoded color information.In this paper, the characteristics of depth map are deeply studied, and a region-based trilateral filter for depth video coding is proposed to improve the coding quality.First, the depth map is divided into multiple regions and each region is given a segmentation label.Then, in order to remove noise and maintain edge sharpness, each pixel is filtered by adjacent pixels belonging to the same region.The proposed method is verified by 3D video sequences on the HEVC platform. The experimental results show that the video quality has been improved at the same bit rate.In terms of the correlation between color video and depth, this paper proposes a multi-view depth video disparity vector prediction method combined with color information.Firstly, the color block corresponding to the current coded depth block is obtained, and the parallax vector predicted by the color block is extracted as a candidate disparity vector of the depth block.Then, another candidate parallax vector is obtained by using depth block information.Finally, two candidate parallax vectors are selected as the prediction value of the disparity vector of the current depth block by calculating the sampled mean square error (RMS) of the two candidate parallax vectors.The experimental results show that the proposed method improves the coding performance.
