安卓智能手機功耗管理機制及評估模型研究

【摘要】:移動終端的多元化及社交廣泛性為互聯(lián)網(wǎng)發(fā)展帶來一場深刻的變革,智能手機作為移動終端產(chǎn)品的代表,在市場上占據(jù)主導(dǎo)地位。根據(jù)市場分析,80%以上的智能手機運行安卓系統(tǒng)。隨著用戶體驗的要求不斷提高,理解和優(yōu)化智能手機的功耗已成為一個重要的研究領(lǐng)域。現(xiàn)有的工作已經(jīng)提出多種功耗模型來評估功耗,但這些模型缺乏細化粒度和精確度。本文對安卓系統(tǒng)自身的電源管理機制和功耗模型構(gòu)建進行了系統(tǒng)的研究,所取得的主要研究成果如下:1.對安卓系統(tǒng)的電源管理機制進行研究,分析安卓電源管理模塊的源碼實現(xiàn),特別是與其密切相關(guān)的喚醒鎖機制、功耗管理以及評測機制。結(jié)果表明安卓系統(tǒng)不能統(tǒng)計應(yīng)用程序或硬件模塊在特定運行時間內(nèi)的具體功耗值。2.針對安卓系統(tǒng)自身功耗管理機制的不足,提出基于硬件使用率和延時功耗的動態(tài)功耗評估模型,模型的構(gòu)建基于非線性回歸結(jié)構(gòu),首先通過模塊化智能手機各硬件組件的相關(guān)參數(shù)來確定模型,然后設(shè)計功耗測試用例用于模型辨識,確定各個功耗相關(guān)系數(shù),給出模型具體的關(guān)系表達式。模型具有以下優(yōu)勢:重點提出了無線通訊設(shè)備具有延時功耗的問題,建立了相應(yīng)的延時功耗模型;將Flash、Camera、Bluetooth硬件組件加入到手機功耗模型中,完善了已有的基于硬件使用率的功耗模型。因此,該模型可達到改善整體功耗評估精度的目標。3.采用當(dāng)前主流的智能手機設(shè)備進行模型驗證,結(jié)果表明常用場景下該模型實測功耗和評估功耗之間的平均絕對誤差都小于4.6%。依賴于上述模型,我們開發(fā)了一款安卓功耗監(jiān)測工具,可以實時顯示系統(tǒng)功耗變化趨勢,實時統(tǒng)計安卓各個硬件組件和整體的功耗。
[Abstract]:The diversity and social universality of mobile terminals have brought a profound change to the development of the Internet. Smartphone is the representative of mobile terminal products. More than 80 percent of smartphones run Android, according to market analysis. Understanding and optimizing the power consumption of smart phones has become an important research field. However, these models lack of granularity and precision. In this paper, the power management mechanism and power model construction of Android system are systematically studied. The main research results are as follows: 1.The power management mechanism of Android system is studied, and the source code implementation of Android power management module is analyzed, especially the wake-up lock mechanism, which is closely related to Android power management module. The results show that the Android system can not count the specific power consumption value of the application or hardware module in a given running time. A dynamic power evaluation model based on hardware usage and delay power consumption is proposed. The model is constructed based on nonlinear regression structure. Firstly, the model is determined by the parameters of each hardware component of a modular smart phone. Then the power test cases are designed for model identification, each power consumption correlation coefficient is determined, and the specific relational expression of the model is given. The model has the following advantages: the problem that wireless communication equipment has delay power consumption is put forward emphatically. The corresponding delay power model is established, and the Flash Camera-Bluetooth hardware component is added to the mobile phone power model, which improves the existing power consumption model based on hardware utilization. The model can achieve the goal of improving the accuracy of overall power evaluation. The results show that the average absolute error between measured and evaluated power consumption is less than 4.6 in common scenarios. Depending on the above model, we have developed an Android power monitoring tool, which can display the power trends of the system in real time. Real-time statistics of Android hardware components and the overall power consumption.
