具有典型磁矩的中子雙星系統(tǒng)中引力波向電磁波的轉(zhuǎn)化

引力波是愛因斯坦廣義相對論的直接推論,對引力波的檢測,是對廣義相對論最有效和最嚴格的檢驗,也是對廣義相對論最有效和最激動人心的檢驗。目前引力波存在的唯一證據(jù)是由中子雙星輻射阻尼效應對其的間接證明。當今世界已開展了大量的關(guān)于引力波探測的理論和實驗工作。本文就是考察了引力波的若干電磁效應,提出了一類新的探測方案并討論了其可能性,同時擴展了相關(guān)的另一類探測方案,使其更加接近實驗。 由于引力波的微弱性,產(chǎn)生足夠強的引力波需要大質(zhì)量的劇烈運動,但這在宇宙中是廣泛存在的。另外,宇宙早期大爆炸留下的遺跡引力波也是一個很好的觀測源。許多天體或天文事件(中子雙星,黑洞碰撞等)都能輻射引力波,現(xiàn)今大多數(shù)的理論和實驗研究都圍繞這類天體進行。而在這類天體中不少是被強磁場所包圍,在這種情形下,天體輻射的引力波與它周圍磁場的相互作用就有可能為引力波探測提供另一種可能的途徑,從而與現(xiàn)在流行的地面或空間的激光干涉引力波探測(LIGO,LISA等)形成很好的互補性。本文考察了由于引力波與天體磁場的相互作用而導致的由中子雙星等天體輻射的準球面引力波向電磁波的轉(zhuǎn)化。通過求解Einstein-Maxwell方程,并在考...
