M矮星光譜型分類(lèi)研究

【摘要】:M矮星的研究對(duì)于探索銀河系的結(jié)構(gòu)、演化以及搜尋地外生命有重要意義。獲得M矮星的光譜型是一項(xiàng)重要的基礎(chǔ)工作。本研究采用SLOAN DR7的M矮星樣本,參考隨機(jī)森林的特征重要性度量,提取M矮星可見(jiàn)光波段600~900nm之間的特征。提取的特征與現(xiàn)有的光譜分類(lèi)程序Hammer中采用的特征進(jìn)行對(duì)比增加了三個(gè)新的特征,并重新計(jì)算了模板的特征指數(shù)。對(duì)該方法測(cè)試結(jié)果表明,增加了新指數(shù)的程序光譜型分類(lèi)結(jié)果準(zhǔn)確度有很大提高,該方法已用于對(duì)LAMOST的M矮星光譜進(jìn)行光譜型分類(lèi)。
[Abstract]:The study of M dwarfs is of great significance in exploring the structure, evolution and search for extraterrestrial life in the Milky way. It is an important work to obtain the spectral form of M dwarf star. In this study, the M-dwarf samples of SLOAN DR7 were used to extract the features between 600~900nm in the visible light band of M dwarfs with reference to the feature importance measure of random forests. The extracted features are compared with those used in the existing spectral classification program Hammer, and three new features are added, and the template feature index is recalculated. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the program spectral type classification with the new index is greatly improved, and this method has been applied to the spectral classification of LAMOST's M dwarf star spectrum.
