【摘要】："十一五"國(guó)家重大科技基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)項(xiàng)目—500 m口徑球面射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡(FAST)工程,是利用貴州天然喀斯特洼地作為望遠(yuǎn)鏡臺(tái)址,建造世界第一大單口徑射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡—500 m口徑主動(dòng)反射球面射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡,以實(shí)現(xiàn)大天區(qū)面積、高精度的天文觀測(cè).FAST工程由中國(guó)科學(xué)院和貴州省人民政府聯(lián)合共建,于2016年9月25日竣工.
