正常脈沖星計時噪聲的研究進(jìn)展

【摘要】:脈沖星自轉(zhuǎn)的穩(wěn)定性是其最顯著的特征之一,利用這種特征可以提供脈沖星自身自轉(zhuǎn)減慢的精確信息,研究強(qiáng)引力場中的廣義相對論效應(yīng),檢驗(yàn)引力波,探測太陽系外行星,以及提供計時標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。然而,在脈沖星自轉(zhuǎn)的長期觀測中,兩種有趣的不規(guī)則性被觀測到,這其中把廣泛存在于脈沖星中且最為普遍的現(xiàn)象稱為"計時噪聲",多表現(xiàn)為相當(dāng)連續(xù)且不穩(wěn)定的行為,并且多由低頻結(jié)構(gòu)組成。對于具有較大周期導(dǎo)數(shù)的脈沖星而言,通常會具有更加明顯的計時噪聲。全面地研究計時噪聲有助于深入了解中子星的內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)。在回顧分析脈沖星自轉(zhuǎn)減慢模型的基礎(chǔ)上,對近年來脈沖星計時噪聲的觀測進(jìn)展進(jìn)行了概述。針對現(xiàn)有的觀測數(shù)據(jù),討論了目前關(guān)于計時噪聲分類以及觀測制動指數(shù)中存在的問題。另外,介紹和評述了脈沖星計時噪聲的相關(guān)理論模型。最后,展望了未來觀測方面的發(fā)展方向和前景。
[Abstract]:The stability of pulsar's rotation is one of its most remarkable characteristics, which can provide accurate information of pulsar's own slow rotation, study the general relativistic effect in strong gravitational field, examine gravitational waves, and detect extrasolar planets. And provide timing standards. However, in the long term observations of pulsar rotation, two interesting irregularities have been observed, in which the most common phenomenon widely found in pulsars is called "timing noise", which is usually characterized by fairly continuous and unstable behavior. And most of them are composed of low frequency structure. For pulsars with large periodic derivatives, the timing noise is usually more obvious. A comprehensive study of timing noise is helpful to understand the inner structure of neutron stars. Based on the retrospect and analysis of pulsar rotation deceleration model, the recent progress of pulsar timing noise observation is summarized. Based on the existing observation data, the problems existing in the classification of timing noise and the observed braking index are discussed. In addition, the related theoretical models of pulsar timing noise are introduced and reviewed. Finally, the development direction and prospect of observation in the future are prospected.
