紫金山天文臺(tái)太陽黑子手描觀測記錄的精度分析

【摘要】:太陽黑子是太陽上最顯著的觀測特征,也是最早開始系統(tǒng)記錄的太陽活動(dòng)現(xiàn)象.自從望遠(yuǎn)鏡發(fā)明以來,人類已經(jīng)擁有約400 yr系統(tǒng)的手描黑子觀測記錄.關(guān)于太陽活動(dòng)的長期演化及其主要的11 yr周期變化在較大程度上依賴于這樣單一的觀測記錄.近些年來,這些手描黑子圖正在進(jìn)行數(shù)字化,以利于長期保存和進(jìn)行計(jì)算機(jī)處理.在未來,手描黑子記錄的觀測方式將不可避免地由CCD直接的數(shù)字化圖像取代,因此分析過渡時(shí)期并存的兩種方式所得到的資料的共同特性,以及它們之間的差異對(duì)于傳統(tǒng)的手描黑子資料及其與未來純數(shù)字化黑子資料的銜接很有必要.首先對(duì)數(shù)字化后的189張2011年紫金山天文臺(tái)手描黑子觀測記錄進(jìn)行了仔細(xì)的誤差分析,得到所使用的掃描儀在水平和垂直方向比例尺相差0.2%,記錄紙上太陽環(huán)本身的印刷誤差導(dǎo)致東西方向比南北方向長度短1%.在掃描過程中的紙張的放置方向誤差可達(dá)0.5?.在對(duì)這些誤差進(jìn)行修正以后,將手描黑子記錄與同時(shí)刻的空間SDO/HMI(Solar Dynamics Observatory/Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager)全日面連續(xù)譜圖像進(jìn)行對(duì)比,通過重疊的辦法找出對(duì)應(yīng)的黑子,并測量出手描的黑子觀測精度約為7 arcsec,另外大約有3%的手描黑子無法找到對(duì)應(yīng)的黑子記錄.
[Abstract]:Sunspots are the most prominent observational feature of the sun and the earliest solar activity to be recorded systematically. Since the invention of the telescope, Humans already have some 400 yr systems of hand-drawn sunspot observations. The long-term evolution of solar activity and its major 11yr cycle variations depend largely on such a single record. In recent years, These hand-drawn sunspots are being digitized for long-term preservation and computer processing. In the future, the observation of hand-drawn sunspot records will inevitably be replaced by direct digital CCD images. Therefore, the analysis of the common characteristics of the information obtained from the coexistence of the two modes of transition, The differences between them are necessary for the traditional hand-drawn sunspot data and their connection with the future pure digital sunspot data. First, 189 hand-drawn sunspot observations of the Zijinshan Observatory on 2011 were carried out. Careful error analysis, The difference between the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the scanner used is 0.2. The printing error of the solar ring on the paper causes the east-west direction to be 1 / 2 shorter than the north-south length. In the scanning process, the error of the paper's placement direction can be up to 0.5? After correcting these errors, the hand-drawn sunspot record is compared with the spatial SDO/HMI(Solar Dynamics Observatory/Helioseismic and Magnetic imager at the same time, and the corresponding sunspots are found by overlapping method. The accuracy of the measurement is about 7 arcsec.At the same time, about 3% of the hand-drawn sunspots can not find the corresponding sunspot records.
