【摘要】：利用Arecibo射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡40%的ALFALFA(Arecibo Legacy Fast Arecibo L-band Feed Array)河外中性氫巡天數(shù)據(jù),探討了進(jìn)行中性氫吸收線"盲尋"的過程與方法,并給出了搜尋吸收線的一些初步結(jié)果:(1)探測(cè)到的中性氫吸收源的數(shù)量共有10個(gè),其中5個(gè)為文獻(xiàn)中已知源,其余新發(fā)現(xiàn)的吸收線源需要進(jìn)一步的研究與證實(shí).(2)利用探測(cè)靈敏度給出了探測(cè)區(qū)域中性氫柱密度的上限,這些上限的頻率統(tǒng)計(jì)分布顯示阻尼萊曼α吸收線系統(tǒng)(DLAs)中的中性氫氣體的平均自旋溫度與覆蓋因子的比值Ts/f很可能大于500K.射電干擾與駐波是影響Arecibo河外中性氫吸收線探測(cè)的兩個(gè)重要因素,也將進(jìn)行一定的分析以及討論相應(yīng)的解決方法等.正在建設(shè)中的500 m口徑射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡FAST(The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope)與Arecibo射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡屬于相似類型,但在靈敏度、頻帶寬度、觀測(cè)天區(qū)范圍等方面都將有較大的提高,結(jié)合目前的研究進(jìn)展對(duì)將來FAST在中性氫吸收線方面的研究也給出了一定的展望.
[Abstract]:Using the ALFALFA(Arecibo Legacy Fast Arecibo L-band Feed Array data of Arecibo radio telescope 40%, the process and method of blind searching for neutral hydrogen absorption line are discussed. Some preliminary results of the search for the absorption line are given. The number of neutral hydrogen absorption sources detected by: 1) is 10, of which 5 are known sources in the literature. The other newly discovered absorption-line sources need further study and verification. (2) the upper limit of the neutral hydrogen column density in the detection region is given by using the detection sensitivity. The statistical frequency distribution of these upper limits indicates that the ratio Ts/f of average spin temperature to coverage factor of neutral hydrogen in damped Lyman 偽 absorption line system is probably greater than 500K. Radio interference and standing wave influence neutral hydrogen absorption outside Arecibo river. Two important factors in the detection of retractable lines, The 500m aperture radio telescope FAST(The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescopeis similar to that of Arecibo radio telescope, but in sensitivity and bandwidth. The range of observational horizon will be greatly improved, and the future research on neutral hydrogen absorption line of FAST will also be prospected in the light of the current research progress.
