[Abstract]:An international research group declared that. Almost all the material that makes up the moon comes from the early earth. This discovery contradicts that the moon was made up of Tehia, an object the size of Mars, and a model of celestial bodies formed by the collision of the early Earth. Theia is the source of 40 percent of the lunar material. The work is based on popular descriptions of the formation of the moon. Theia was thought to have collided violently with the early Earth, throwing away a pile of matter.
