基于ROACH2的脈沖星終端研制進(jìn)展

【摘要】:脈沖星觀測(cè)研究一直是新疆天文臺(tái)的主要研究方向,未來建設(shè)的新疆110 m口徑全可動(dòng)射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡(簡(jiǎn)稱QTT)也將其作為主要研究方向之一。南山25 m射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡當(dāng)前使用的脈沖星單脈沖觀測(cè)終端AFB已使用近20年,系統(tǒng)老化嚴(yán)重,為升級(jí)現(xiàn)有單脈沖觀測(cè)系統(tǒng),也為QTT的終端設(shè)計(jì)做預(yù)研,基于ROACH2研制了一套脈沖星觀測(cè)系統(tǒng)。該系統(tǒng)采用氫鐘與GPS時(shí)間同步以提供秒起始信號(hào),對(duì)采樣時(shí)鐘計(jì)數(shù)并打入數(shù)據(jù)幀以獲取精準(zhǔn)時(shí)間間隔,兩者合成即可獲得精確時(shí)間信息;采用共享內(nèi)存緩沖區(qū),使數(shù)據(jù)在多進(jìn)程間共享實(shí)現(xiàn)并行實(shí)時(shí)處理。該系統(tǒng)可用于脈沖星單脈沖或到達(dá)時(shí)間觀測(cè),也可用于脈沖星、RRAT或FRB等搜尋。已在南山進(jìn)行單脈沖、長(zhǎng)時(shí)間折疊、FRB實(shí)時(shí)搜尋等觀測(cè)試驗(yàn),試驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)表明該終端準(zhǔn)確、穩(wěn)定、可靠,已達(dá)到投入觀測(cè)使用的要求。
[Abstract]:Pulsar observation has been the main research direction of Xinjiang Observatory. Future Construction of Xinjiang 110m Aperture fully movable Radio Telescope (QTT). It is also regarded as one of the main research directions. The pulsar monopulse observation terminal (AFB), which is currently used in Nanshan 25m radio telescope, has been used for nearly 20 years. The system is aging seriously, so it is necessary to upgrade the existing monopulse observation system and to design the terminal of QTT. A pulsar observation system based on ROACH2 is developed. The system uses hydrogen clock and GPS time synchronization to provide the second start signal, counts the sampling clock and enters the data frame to obtain the accurate time interval. The precise time information can be obtained by combining them. The shared memory buffer is used to realize parallel real-time processing of data in multi-process sharing. The system can be used for pulsar monopulse or time of arrival observation or pulsar. RRAT or FRB have been used in the monopulse, long time folding FRB real-time search and other observation experiments. The experimental data show that the terminal is accurate, stable and reliable. The requirements for observation have been met.
