【摘要】：隨著中國開放速度加快,對外交流也日益增多,特別是在醫(yī)藥領(lǐng)域,中國已從西方國家進口了大量藥品,而這些藥品必須經(jīng)過注冊審批方可進入中國市場。因此,在進口藥品注冊領(lǐng)域,對注冊材料翻譯及專業(yè)譯員的需求量也在不斷增加。本報告以作者由北京一家專業(yè)醫(yī)藥翻譯公司承接的進口藥品注冊材料翻譯項目為例,介紹了翻譯項目;譯前準(zhǔn)備;譯中翻譯策略和輔助工具;譯后校對;以及關(guān)于譯員提高本領(lǐng)域翻譯水平的長期建議等。在譯中翻譯策略方面,本報告從詞匯、句型、文本和格式等不同角度分析了進口藥品注冊材料翻譯的若干特點,并依據(jù)大量翻譯實踐總結(jié)出這些特點相應(yīng)的翻譯策略。例如,針對原文醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)術(shù)語多的特點,要求譯者不斷擴充醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)知識,同時提倡譯者借助計算機輔助軟件減少記憶工作量、提高術(shù)語翻譯準(zhǔn)確度和一致性;針對原文縮略語多的特點,要求譯者理解縮略語指代含義,從而減少因理解錯誤而導(dǎo)致的誤譯;針對原文數(shù)據(jù)多的特點,要求譯者細心謹慎,避免重大數(shù)據(jù)錯誤;針對譯文需遵循翻譯公司特定翻譯習(xí)慣的特點,要求譯者參考公司定稿譯文慣用選詞、句式等。此外,作者還列舉了相應(yīng)翻譯實例用以佐證,使翻譯策略更加明晰易懂。同時,由于進口藥品注冊材料翻譯具有術(shù)語多、數(shù)據(jù)多、格式多、文本重復(fù)率高等特點,利用計算機翻譯輔助軟件如Trados的術(shù)語庫詞匯替換功能、翻譯質(zhì)量檢測功能、語言對格式自動調(diào)整功能、記憶庫自動匹配功能等可大幅提高翻譯效率和質(zhì)量。另外,善用搜索引擎,結(jié)合多種檢索技巧,也有助于保證譯文的專業(yè)性和準(zhǔn)確度。綜上所述,通過本報告中介紹的翻譯策略和輔助工具,可以顯著提高譯員在進口藥品注冊材料翻譯中的效率和質(zhì)量。
