大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)背景特征與高校國(guó)際化戰(zhàn)略的關(guān)系研究

【摘要】:隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的不斷深化和我國(guó)高等教育發(fā)展的內(nèi)在需求,高等教育的國(guó)際化水平越來(lái)越成為國(guó)家、社會(huì)、院校以及學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)日益關(guān)注的指標(biāo)。而大學(xué)如同企業(yè)和其他社會(huì)組織,有著相似的組織架構(gòu),其領(lǐng)導(dǎo)在組織的政策制定和實(shí)施中扮演者不可替代的作用。大學(xué)的校長(zhǎng)和黨委書記,作為大學(xué)的最高層領(lǐng)導(dǎo),左右甚至決定著學(xué)校的改革和規(guī)劃,對(duì)學(xué)校發(fā)展有著重要而深遠(yuǎn)的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。而大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)如何做決策、做出什么樣的決策又是基于其個(gè)人背景和經(jīng)歷的、具有個(gè)人價(jià)值觀和認(rèn)知能力的綜合產(chǎn)物。所以,大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)具有什么樣的背景特征能夠促進(jìn)高校國(guó)際化戰(zhàn)略的制定和實(shí)施是值得探討的現(xiàn)實(shí)問(wèn)題。本研究選取了《中國(guó)大學(xué)國(guó)際化排名URI-2014》中國(guó)際化得分排名前112的高校作為研究對(duì)象,即我國(guó)112所高校中的校長(zhǎng)、黨委書記,同時(shí)借助網(wǎng)絡(luò)搜索引擎,通過(guò)各校官方網(wǎng)站、教育部網(wǎng)站等途徑搜集112所高校中領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的各項(xiàng)背景信息,包括人口統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)、教育、職業(yè)等方面的信息;并基于高階理論等對(duì)大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)背景與高校國(guó)際化戰(zhàn)略的關(guān)系進(jìn)行假設(shè);采取實(shí)證的方法分析大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的描述性統(tǒng)計(jì)特征、進(jìn)行相關(guān)系數(shù)分析和回歸分析;最后根據(jù)所得分析數(shù)據(jù)總結(jié)結(jié)論并對(duì)大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的遴選和任用提出可能的建議。本研究主要分為以下幾個(gè)部分:首先,通過(guò)分析領(lǐng)導(dǎo)背景與戰(zhàn)略決策的關(guān)系、高校國(guó)際化的重要趨勢(shì)來(lái)闡述本研究的選題背景及意義、提出將研究領(lǐng)導(dǎo)背景與高校國(guó)際化戰(zhàn)略之間是否存在相關(guān)性、以及情境變量的調(diào)節(jié)效應(yīng)的問(wèn)題;其次,梳理國(guó)內(nèi)外的相關(guān)文獻(xiàn),從大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)對(duì)大學(xué)發(fā)展的影響、大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的背景特征和現(xiàn)代大學(xué)國(guó)際化動(dòng)因三個(gè)維度出發(fā),總結(jié)并簡(jiǎn)要評(píng)價(jià)目前相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的研究成果和主要結(jié)論;第三,闡述本文的理論基礎(chǔ)與研究假設(shè),介紹高階理論以及其運(yùn)用到分析企業(yè)和大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)層的適用性。并根據(jù)研究思路進(jìn)一步提出8項(xiàng)研究假設(shè);第四,進(jìn)行研究設(shè)計(jì),明確數(shù)據(jù)來(lái)源。闡明樣本選擇的依據(jù)及本文中所運(yùn)用的研究方法,介紹變量的選擇、分類、編碼和測(cè)量,并根據(jù)文章邏輯和變量設(shè)計(jì)建構(gòu)模型。第五,進(jìn)行實(shí)證研究并分析數(shù)據(jù)結(jié)果。一方面對(duì)大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)背景特征進(jìn)行描述性統(tǒng)計(jì),另一方面對(duì)大學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的相關(guān)系數(shù)和回歸結(jié)果進(jìn)行解釋;最后,根據(jù)實(shí)證結(jié)果進(jìn)行總結(jié),分析領(lǐng)導(dǎo)背景特對(duì)于高校國(guó)際化戰(zhàn)略的影響及調(diào)節(jié)變量產(chǎn)生效應(yīng)的原因,并對(duì)大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)和書記的遴選提出能的建議。并且反思本文中的不足之處及未來(lái)努力的方向。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of economic globalization and the inherent needs of the development of higher education in China, the internationalization level of higher education has become more and more national and social. Colleges and universities and students and parents are increasingly concerned about indicators. Universities, like enterprises and other social organizations, have similar organizational structures, Its leadership plays an irreplaceable role in the formulation and implementation of organizational policies. The presidents and party secretaries of universities, as the top leaders of universities, influence or even determine the reform and planning of schools. It has important and far-reaching practical significance for the development of the school. And how and what kind of decisions are made by university leaders are based on their personal background and experience, and have a comprehensive product of personal values and cognitive abilities. What kind of background characteristics of university leaders can promote the formulation and implementation of university internationalization strategy is a practical problem worth to be discussed. This study selected the top 112th internationalization score in the "URI-2014" of China University internationalization ranking. Colleges and universities as the object of study, That is, the presidents and party secretaries of 112 colleges and universities in our country, at the same time, through the Internet search engine, through the official websites of each school, the website of the Ministry of Education, and other channels to collect the background information of the leaders of 112 universities, including demographics, education, etc. On the basis of higher order theory, this paper hypothesizes the relationship between university leadership background and university internationalization strategy, analyzes the descriptive statistical characteristics of university leaders by empirical method, and carries out correlation coefficient analysis and regression analysis. Finally, the conclusions are summarized according to the analysis data, and the possible suggestions on the selection and appointment of university leaders are put forward. This study is mainly divided into the following parts: first, through the analysis of the relationship between leadership background and strategic decision-making, The important trend of internationalization of colleges and universities to explain the background and significance of this study, put forward whether there is a correlation between the background of leadership and the internationalization strategy of colleges and universities, as well as the adjustment effect of situational variables. Secondly, Combing the relevant literature at home and abroad, from the impact of university leaders on the development of universities, the background characteristics of university leaders and the motivation of internationalization of modern universities, this paper summarizes and briefly evaluates the current research results and main conclusions in related fields. Thirdly, the theoretical basis and research hypothesis of this paper are expounded, and the higher order theory and its application in analyzing the applicability of enterprise and university leadership are introduced. Furthermore, according to the research ideas, 8 research hypotheses are put forward. 4th, research design is carried out. Clarify the data source, clarify the basis for sample selection and the research methods used in this paper, introduce the selection, classification, coding and measurement of variables, and design a model based on the logic and variables of the article. 5th, On the one hand, it makes descriptive statistics on the background characteristics of university leaders, on the other hand, it explains the correlation coefficient and regression results of university leaders; finally, it summarizes the results according to the empirical results. This paper analyzes the influence of leadership background on the internationalization strategy of colleges and universities and the reasons for the influence of regulating variables, and puts forward some suggestions for the selection of university presidents and secretaries, and reflects on the shortcomings of this paper and the direction of future efforts.
