【摘要】:ATLAS(A Toroidal LHC Apparatus)探測(cè)器是位于瑞士日內(nèi)瓦的歐洲核子研究中心建造的大型強(qiáng)子對(duì)撞機(jī)LHC(Large Hadron Collider)的四個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)之一,ATLAS合作組決定在2018年進(jìn)行Phase I升級(jí),其主要任務(wù)是研制Muon譜儀端蓋NSW(New Small Wheel)新型探測(cè)器系統(tǒng),并全面升級(jí)作為物理分析第一道保障的觸發(fā)子系統(tǒng)。升級(jí)后的探測(cè)器與EML(Endcap Middle Layer)探測(cè)器一起構(gòu)成完整的觸發(fā)系統(tǒng),可以有效排除端蓋磁鐵帶來(lái)的誤觸發(fā)。在NSW Phase I升級(jí)中,中國(guó)科技大學(xué)承擔(dān)sTGC(small Thin Gap Chamber)探測(cè)器前端電子學(xué)FEB(Front-End Board)的研制和大規(guī)模生產(chǎn)任務(wù)。FEB歷經(jīng)設(shè)計(jì)生產(chǎn)、調(diào)試測(cè)試、束流測(cè)試、在ATLAS NSW上的安裝以及隨后的實(shí)際測(cè)試等多個(gè)環(huán)節(jié),這些環(huán)節(jié)涉及眾多關(guān)鍵信息,它們與ATLAS探測(cè)器最終的物理數(shù)據(jù)分析具有重大的關(guān)系與影響。ATLAS sTGC FEB數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)的建立就是為了存儲(chǔ)并管理FEB的所有重要信息并為ATLAS探測(cè)器的物理數(shù)據(jù)分析提供數(shù)據(jù)支持。此外,ATLAS合作組的其他成員也在建立他們的數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng),而各合作組之間存在大量協(xié)作任務(wù)以及關(guān)聯(lián)數(shù)據(jù),FEB數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)需要能夠與這些合作組的數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行有效的交互。本論文從FEB開發(fā)工程管理的角度出發(fā),分析了 FEB開發(fā)工程中涉及到的信息,結(jié)合ATLAS合作組之間對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)交互的需求,以向ATLAS探測(cè)器未來(lái)的物理數(shù)據(jù)分析提供數(shù)據(jù)支持和運(yùn)營(yíng)服務(wù)為目的,分類、分層次地設(shè)計(jì)了 FEB數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng),建立了兩個(gè)相關(guān)而獨(dú)立的數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù),分別存儲(chǔ)FEB的開發(fā)信息與測(cè)試信息。在數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)表結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)完成后,還設(shè)計(jì)了應(yīng)用程序來(lái)實(shí)際應(yīng)用數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù),提供了完善的數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)操作功能。此外,還對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行了多方面的測(cè)試。目前,該數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)已經(jīng)有效應(yīng)用于ATLAS sTGC FEB的實(shí)際數(shù)據(jù)存儲(chǔ)與管理中。本論文的創(chuàng)新點(diǎn)集中表現(xiàn)在如下幾個(gè)方面:1.本文開創(chuàng)性地設(shè)計(jì)了數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)管理系統(tǒng)來(lái)管理FEB開發(fā)工程并為ATLAS NSW實(shí)驗(yàn)提供運(yùn)營(yíng)服務(wù)。2.在數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)的設(shè)計(jì)中,注意了關(guān)鍵信息的存儲(chǔ)與維護(hù),完成了與ATLAS整體數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)的交互,構(gòu)成了 ATLAS MUON NSW數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng)的一個(gè)組成部分,為整個(gè)ATLAS項(xiàng)目組提供服務(wù)。3.在數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)的邏輯設(shè)計(jì)中,創(chuàng)新性地建立了兩個(gè)相關(guān)而獨(dú)立的數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù),擯棄了擁有繁多數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)表的死板結(jié)構(gòu),僅僅通過(guò)邏輯關(guān)聯(lián)緊密的幾個(gè)表來(lái)存儲(chǔ)數(shù)據(jù),層次結(jié)構(gòu)清晰,邏輯性強(qiáng),有效地避免了數(shù)據(jù)的混亂。
[Abstract]:The ATLAS(A Toroidal LHC Apparatusis is one of four experiments at the LHC(Large Hadron Collider, built by the European Center for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. The ATLAS team decided to upgrade the Phase I in 2018. Its main task is to develop a new type of detector system for Muon spectrometer end cover NSW(New Small detector, and upgrade it as the first trigger subsystem of physical analysis. The upgraded detector, together with the EML(Endcap Middle layer detector, constitutes a complete trigger system. In the upgrade of NSW Phase I, the University of Science and Technology of China is responsible for the research and development of sTGC(small Thin Gap Chamber detector front-end electronics and mass production. Feb has been designed and manufactured, debugging and testing, beam current testing, etc. Installation on ATLAS NSW and subsequent actual testing, all of which involve a lot of critical information, They have great relationship and influence with the final physical data analysis of ATLAS detectors. The ATLAS sTGC FEB data management system was established to store and manage all important information of FEB and to provide physical data analysis for ATLAS detectors. Data support. In addition, other members of the ATLAS cooperation group are also building their data management systems, However, there are a lot of cooperative tasks among the cooperative groups and the data management system of the associated data / Feb needs to be able to interact effectively with the data management system of these cooperative groups. This paper starts from the point of view of FEB development project management. The information involved in the FEB development project is analyzed, and the data support and operation services for the future physical data analysis of the ATLAS detector are provided according to the requirements of the database interaction among the ATLAS cooperation groups, and the classification is carried out for the purpose of providing data support and operation services for the future physical data analysis of the ATLAS detectors. The FEB data management system is designed, and two independent databases are established to store the development information and test information of FEB. After the design of the database table structure is finished, the application program is designed to apply the database. Provides the perfect database operation function. In addition, has carried on the multi-aspect test to the data management system. The data management system has been effectively applied to the actual data storage and management of ATLAS sTGC FEB. The innovation of this paper is focused on the following aspects: 1. This paper has designed a database management system to manage FEB development. Project and provide operational services for the ATLAS NSW experiment. 2. In the design of the data management system, This paper pays attention to the storage and maintenance of the key information, completes the interaction with the whole ATLAS database, and forms an integral part of the ATLAS MUON NSW data management system, which provides the whole ATLAS project team with services .3. in the logical design of the database, Innovatively set up two related and independent databases, abandoned the rigid structure with many database tables, and stored data only through several tables with close logical association, the hierarchical structure is clear, and the logic is strong. Effectively avoids the confusion of the data.
