本文是一篇以人工智能發(fā)展為主題、功能對等理論為指導(dǎo)的翻譯實(shí)踐報告。該報告的英文原文選自澳大利亞昆士蘭大學(xué)博士安東尼·巴格拉斯(Anthony Berglas)編著的《待計(jì)算機(jī)思考時:人工智能奇點(diǎn)》(When Computers Can Think:The Artificial Intelligence Singularity)第一部分中的第一章“思考計(jì)算機(jī)的人類”(people thinking about computers)。原章節(jié)介紹了人類對計(jì)算機(jī)智能發(fā)展的猜測、發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀、構(gòu)想和存在問題。在奈達(dá)的功能對等理論和萊斯的文本類型理論的指導(dǎo)下,譯者旨在用直白易懂的語言再現(xiàn)原文的信息,力求達(dá)到忠實(shí)、通順、與原文風(fēng)格相一致。針對譯者在翻譯過程中遇到的詞法、句法以及背景信息等難題,報告以直譯為主要翻譯方法,巧妙運(yùn)用各種翻譯技巧,解決了翻譯實(shí)踐中遇到的各種難點(diǎn)和問題,以達(dá)到文辭暢達(dá)的效果。該翻譯項(xiàng)目以人工智能發(fā)展為主題,為中國的人工智能發(fā)展和尖端技術(shù)研發(fā)提供了理論和技術(shù)上的指導(dǎo)。
