[Abstract]:The salt-alkaline soil in the coastal area of northern Jiangsu has been improved through tillage measures for a long time. It is important to study the adsorption characteristics of ammonium nitrogen in this type of soil for preventing and controlling the risk of nitrogen loss in saline and alkali soils. The laboratory simulation study on the adsorption characteristics of ammonium nitrogen in typical salinized tidal soils in the coastal area of northern Jiangsu Plain was carried out. The adsorption isothermal process was described, the effects of initial concentration and pH were discussed, and the kinetics and thermodynamics of ammonium nitrogen adsorption were revealed. The results showed that the equilibrium adsorption of ammonium and nitrogen was in accordance with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm, and the single layer electroadsorption model was the main one. The adsorption process accords with the Elovich equation, the higher the initial concentration of solution is, the higher the temperature is, the higher the adsorption rate of ammonium nitrogen is, but the lower the adsorption rate is, and the thermodynamic parameter estimation shows that the adsorption process is exothermic, and the initial concentration increases. The higher the energy barrier to be overcome by adsorption.
