【摘要】：分析ARM服務(wù)器的發(fā)展以及應(yīng)用現(xiàn)狀,結(jié)合數(shù)據(jù)中心的特點(diǎn),設(shè)計(jì)基于ARMv8架構(gòu)的高能效數(shù)據(jù)中心服務(wù)器,選取目前工業(yè)界具有代表性的ARMv8服務(wù)器參數(shù),使用典型的數(shù)據(jù)中心負(fù)載,對X86和ARMv8兩種架構(gòu)的微體系結(jié)構(gòu)級指標(biāo)、性能和功耗進(jìn)行定量評估。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,與X86架構(gòu)服務(wù)器相比,ARMv8架構(gòu)服務(wù)器在數(shù)據(jù)中心領(lǐng)域具有更好的能效比,能夠有效降低能耗和成本。
[Abstract]:By analyzing the development and application of ARM server, combining the characteristics of data center, the energy efficient data center server based on ARMv8 architecture is designed. The typical parameters of ARMv8 server in industry are selected, and the typical data center load is used. The performance and power consumption of X86 and ARMv8 architectures are evaluated quantitatively. Experimental results show that compared with X86 architecture server, ARMv8 architecture server has better energy efficiency ratio in data center, and can effectively reduce energy consumption and cost.
