虛擬環(huán)境下硬件事務(wù)內(nèi)存輔助的同步機(jī)制
[Abstract]:In virtualization systems, dual scheduling problems are common. The phenomenon of overloading further exacerbates the dual scheduling problem and results in a performance degradation that can not be ignored. How to protect the fairness of the system while mitigating the negative impact of the dual scheduling problem and improve the overall performance of the system has become an important issue. By studying the efficiency of synchronization mechanism caused by dual scheduling and combining the characteristics of hardware transaction memory, a new synchronization mechanism, SPINRTM., is designed for the virtual machine kernel. On the one hand, SPINRTM protects the critical interval of virtual machine from interrupting due to the feature that the memory of hardware transaction can not be interrupted, which effectively alleviates the dual scheduling problem. On the other hand, SPINRTM combines the traditional queued spin lock to protect the efficiency of hardware transaction memory and to maintain the fairness of the system. The test results show that SPINRTM can improve the overall performance of the system while protecting the fairness of the system.
