深空探測應用中的高速數(shù)據(jù)存儲技術研究

【摘要】:深空探測是人類了解宇宙的重要方式,其產(chǎn)生的探測數(shù)據(jù)需要高速實時的存儲以便作為后續(xù)各類研究的依據(jù),因此就對數(shù)據(jù)的傳輸速度、存儲速度、存儲容量以及存儲可靠性等方面提出了更高的要求。串行高級技術附件SATA作為新一代磁盤接口總線,具有探測數(shù)據(jù)所需的多項突出的功能以及特性。 本論文詳細介紹并分析了SATA協(xié)議中與設計有關的內(nèi)容,具體劃分為四個層次,,然后根據(jù)分析結(jié)果構建了SATA硬盤主機控制器的層次結(jié)構,并且進行了詳細的設計。在此基礎上對各個模塊進行Verilog編程,然后對所有模塊進行ModelSim仿真,最后在Xilinx ML507開發(fā)板上進行相關調(diào)試以及設計驗證。最終測試表明,本論文設計的基于Xilinx FPGA的SATA硬盤主機控制器滿足SATA協(xié)議需求,并且具有使用方便、集成度高、成本低等優(yōu)點,使開發(fā)變得方便快捷,更能夠適應市場需求。 目前SATA已在存儲領域廣泛應用,但國內(nèi)獨立研發(fā)面向FPGA的SATA硬盤主機控制器的機構很少,因此,設計面向FPGA應用的SATA硬盤主機控制器具有重要的意義,使得用戶能夠繞開復雜而繁瑣的SATA協(xié)議,通過控制相對簡單的接口信號就能讀寫SATA硬盤,為深空探測數(shù)據(jù)的存儲奠定了基礎,具有一定的工程應用價值。
[Abstract]:Deep space exploration is an important way for human beings to understand the universe. The data generated by it needs to be stored at high speed and in real time in order to serve as the basis for all kinds of subsequent studies. Storage capacity and storage reliability and other aspects put forward higher requirements. As a new generation of disk interface bus, serial advanced technology attachment SATA has many outstanding functions and characteristics needed to detect data. This paper introduces and analyzes the content related to the design of SATA protocol in detail. It is divided into four levels, and then the hierarchical structure of SATA hard disk host controller is constructed according to the analysis results, and the detailed design is carried out. On this basis, every module is programmed by Verilog, then all modules are simulated by ModelSim. Finally, the relevant debugging and design verification are carried out on the development board of Xilinx ML507. The final test shows that the SATA harddisk host controller based on Xilinx FPGA meets the requirements of SATA protocol, and has the advantages of convenient use, high integration, low cost and so on. At present, SATA has been widely used in the field of storage, but there are few mechanisms for independent research and development of FPGA oriented SATA hard disk host controller in China. Therefore, it is of great significance to design a FPGA oriented SATA hard disk host controller. It enables users to bypass the complicated and cumbersome SATA protocol, and can read and write SATA hard disk by controlling relatively simple interface signals, which lays the foundation for the storage of deep space detection data, and has certain engineering application value.
