【摘要】：高能物理計(jì)算是典型的高性能計(jì)算的應(yīng)用,運(yùn)行時(shí)需要大量的CPU資源。如果系統(tǒng)的CPU資源利用率不高,會(huì)使得計(jì)算效率大大下降。傳統(tǒng)的高能物理計(jì)算環(huán)境資源管理是靜態(tài)的,很難同時(shí)滿足突發(fā)、批處理、CPU密集型、數(shù)據(jù)密集型等不同類型的作業(yè)對(duì)于不同的物理資源的需求。文中基于Openstack構(gòu)建的虛擬計(jì)算集群系統(tǒng),實(shí)現(xiàn)以CPU核為粒度進(jìn)行調(diào)度作業(yè),根據(jù)當(dāng)前的作業(yè)和虛擬資源情況,動(dòng)態(tài)調(diào)度資源,大大提高了資源的利用率。首先介紹本系統(tǒng)的相關(guān)研究工作,包括KVM虛擬機(jī)的測(cè)試優(yōu)化、高能物理作業(yè)在虛擬機(jī)上的性能測(cè)試及高能物理公共服務(wù)云IHEPCloud,這些工作進(jìn)一步表明了高能物理實(shí)驗(yàn)的數(shù)據(jù)分析在虛擬機(jī)上的性能是完全可以被接受的;然后詳細(xì)介紹了虛擬計(jì)算集群系統(tǒng)的設(shè)計(jì)與實(shí)現(xiàn);最后給出虛擬機(jī)計(jì)算集群在高能物理計(jì)算中的實(shí)際應(yīng)用情況,證明了虛擬計(jì)算集群系統(tǒng)能很好地滿足高能物理的計(jì)算需求。
[Abstract]:High energy physics calculation is the application of high performance computing of the typical operation, need a large number of CPU resources. If the CPU of the system resource utilization rate is not high, the calculation efficiency is greatly reduced. The traditional computing environment of high energy physics resource management is static, it is very difficult to meet the emergency, batch processing, CPU intensive operations, demand data intensive different types for different physical resources. The virtual cluster computing system based on Openstack in this paper, based on CPU kernel granularity scheduling, according to the work and the current situation of the virtual resource, dynamic resource scheduling, greatly improving the utilization rate of resources. First introduced the related research work of the system the test, including optimization of KVM virtual machine, high energy physics performance test on virtual machine and high energy physics public service cloud IHEPCloud, which further shows the reality of high energy physics Check the performance of data analysis in the virtual machine is perfectly acceptable; and then introduces the design and implementation of virtual computing cluster system; calculation of practical application of cluster computing in high energy physics virtual machine finally, proves that the virtual cluster system can well meet the requirements of high energy physics calculation.
