【摘要】：Cache一致性協(xié)議對(duì)系統(tǒng)性能和帶寬需求具有重要影響,而當(dāng)前廣泛采用的廣播協(xié)議帶寬需求較高,目錄協(xié)議訪存延遲較大,均不適用于國(guó)產(chǎn)服務(wù)器CPU直連接口帶寬較低及延遲較大的應(yīng)用場(chǎng)景。針對(duì)上述問題,基于Token廣播協(xié)議和目錄協(xié)議,設(shè)計(jì)混合一致性協(xié)議,采用Simics結(jié)合GEM S搭建多路直連片上多核處理器仿真系統(tǒng),通過運(yùn)行SPLASH-2測(cè)試協(xié)議的相關(guān)性能。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,混合協(xié)議的系統(tǒng)性能優(yōu)于目錄協(xié)議,與Token協(xié)議相比,混合協(xié)議以較小的性能代價(jià),大幅降低片間通信帶寬需求,且在帶寬資源受限系統(tǒng)中具有更好的系統(tǒng)性能。
[Abstract]:Cache consistency protocol has an important impact on the system performance and bandwidth requirements, but the current widely used broadcast protocol has a high bandwidth demand, and the directory protocol has a large memory access delay. It is not suitable for the domestic server with low bandwidth and long delay of CPU direct connection port. In view of the above problems, based on the Token broadcast protocol and directory protocol, a hybrid consistency protocol is designed. Simics and GEM S are used to build a multi-core processor simulation system. The performance of the protocol is tested by running SPLASH-2. The experimental results show that. The performance of hybrid protocol is better than that of directory protocol. Compared with Token protocol, hybrid protocol greatly reduces the bandwidth requirement of inter-chip communication with lower performance cost. And it has better system performance in bandwidth resource constrained system.
