The technological conditions and features of this rolling method are described. Approximate mathematical expressions for the parameters of tension, pressure etc. are presented.     This paper presents the results of our experiments and production practice in asynchronous rolling since 1973, which showed the adoption of "S" asynchronous rolling is effective in the temper rolling of thin strip. The technological conditions and features of this rolling method are described. Approximate mathematical expressions for the parameters of tension, pressure etc. are presented. The causes leading to stable rolling operation are analysed using the characferisfic curves of elastic and plastic deformation of rolled material and the principle of static friction. The conditions and results of our experi-ments and productive application are outlined. This method of rolling is considered to be superior to usual temper rolling in flattening capacity, demand of manipulative skill and product quality.

    On the basis of high speed films of moving arc taken in quantity during underwater cutting and oscillograms of arc current and voltage, this paper analyses the characteristics of the burning of arcs in consumable electrode water jet semiautomatic underwater cutting, studies its mechanism and advances the hypothesis that there may exist a high-temperature "gas cavity" during continuous steady cutting.     On the basis of high speed films of moving arc taken in quantity during underwater cutting and oscillograms of arc current and voltage, this paper analyses the characteristics of the burning of arcs in consumable electrode water jet semiautomatic underwater cutting, studies its mechanism and advances the hypothesis that there may exist a high-temperature "gas cavity" during continuous steady cutting. This paper also deals with the requirements to the power sources for cut ting and discusses the most important problems in developing cutting apparatus. The relationship among differen parameters has been obtaind through technological experiments carried out in continuous steady cutting condition. The performance, characteristics and principal technical datum of GSS-800 consumable electrode water jet semiautomatic underwater cutting apparatus are also outlined. The last part of the paper is a brief account of a successful cutting on site at a depth of 60 metres under water, employing the new consumable electrode water jet technique with a cutting speed up to 20m/h and more.

    本文就大量拍攝的水下切割電弧移動高速攝影照片和電弧電壓、電流示波圖,分析了半自動熔化極水噴射水下切割電弧燃燒的特點,探討了其切割機理,提出了連續(xù)穩(wěn)定切割時存在高溫“氣腔”的假設。闡述了對切割電源性能的要求和研制切割設備中的關鍵問題;并通過連續(xù)穩(wěn)定切割條件下的工藝試驗,得出了各規(guī)范參數之間的關系。扼要介紹了GSS-800型半自動熔化極水噴射水下電弧切割設備的性能,特點和主要技術參數。最后簡述了半自動熔化極水噴射水下電弧切割新技術在深海60m施工現場進行切割的情況。切割速度達到20m/h以上。
