【摘要】：金屬材料的研發(fā)制造與加工是科學(xué)研究的重要內(nèi)容,鑄造技術(shù)在當(dāng)今仍是金屬加工的主要手段之一。研究鑄造史,既能使我們了解古代鑄造技術(shù)的發(fā)展歷程,又有助于現(xiàn)代新技術(shù)的開發(fā)。在中西科學(xué)交流史上,江南制造局翻譯館出版了很多科學(xué)譯著,其中《冶金錄》是一本以講鑄造為主的專書。本文以《冶金錄》為研究對象,對書中的相關(guān)問題予以全面考察和分析。本文的主要內(nèi)容有:1.介紹了作者和翻譯者生平及貢獻(xiàn)�？疾炝恕兑苯痄洝返奈谋�,比較中英文之間的差異,分析翻譯方式與風(fēng)格。認(rèn)為翻譯者翻譯時(shí)沒有對原文進(jìn)行改編,而是逐句如實(shí)翻譯,僅有極少個(gè)別的調(diào)整。2.介紹了《冶金錄》其中的主要內(nèi)容。詳細(xì)介紹了書中列舉的各種工具與設(shè)備,以及造模方法,最后論述了書中涉及的鑄鐵知識,如鑄鐵的分類、鑄鐵中的雜質(zhì)及其影響等。回顧了中國古代的鑄造技術(shù)的發(fā)展歷程,以及晚清時(shí)期的相關(guān)著作里的鑄造技術(shù)。詳細(xì)介紹了石范法、陶范法、失蠟法等技術(shù),以及《海國圖志》收錄著作中的近代鑄造技術(shù)。對比兩者之間的異同。。3.論述西方金工知識在晚清的傳播,考察了譯者群及其譯著和當(dāng)時(shí)的教育制度等內(nèi)容。列舉了相關(guān)著作的主要內(nèi)容如:《金工教范》、《鑄金論略》《寶藏興焉》、《西國煉鋼法》、《造鐵全法》等。本文研究表明,雖然《冶金錄》僅僅是一本技術(shù)手冊,但在出版后卻有廣泛傳播,從中可以看出《冶金錄》的翻譯出版對晚清金工知識的傳播起到了一定的作用。
[Abstract]:The research and manufacture and processing of metal materials is an important part of scientific research. Foundry technology is still one of the main means of metal processing. Studying the history of foundry can not only help us understand the development of ancient foundry technology, but also contribute to the development of modern new technology. In the history of science exchange between China and the West, the translation hall of Jiangnan Manufacturing Bureau has published many scientific translation works, among which Metallurgical record is a special book focusing on foundry. Taking Metallurgical Records as the object of study, this paper makes a comprehensive investigation and analysis of the related problems in the book. The main content of this paper is: 1. This paper introduces the life and contribution of the author and the translator. The text of Metallurgical record is investigated, the differences between Chinese and English are compared, and the translation methods and styles are analyzed. The author thinks that the translator has not adapted the original text but translated it sentence by sentence, with very few adjustments. The main contents of Metallurgical record are introduced. This paper introduces in detail various tools and equipments listed in the book, as well as the modeling methods, and finally discusses the knowledge of cast iron, such as the classification of cast iron, the impurity in cast iron and its influence, etc. This paper reviews the development of foundry technology in ancient China and the foundry technology in related works of the late Qing Dynasty. The techniques of stone model method, pottery method, lost wax method, and modern foundry techniques in the works collected in Haiguo Chronicles are introduced in detail. Compare the similarities and differences between the two. This paper discusses the spread of western metalworking knowledge in the late Qing Dynasty, and examines the translator groups, their translations and the educational system at that time. The main contents of the related works are listed, such as "Metalworking Teaching Model", "A brief discussion on casting Gold", "Xing Yan of Treasure", "the steelmaking Law of the West country", "the complete method of Iron making", etc. The study shows that although Metallurgical Records is only a technical manual, it has been widely disseminated since its publication, from which we can see that the translation and publication of Metallurgical Records played a certain role in the dissemination of metalworking knowledge in the late Qing Dynasty.
