[Abstract]:The effect of AC on the corrosion behavior of X80 steel in near neutral environment was studied by means of data acquisition, electrochemical test, immersion test and surface analysis. The form of AC corrosion changed from total corrosion to local corrosion, and there were more pitting pits on the surface of the sample. Under the alternating interference of full wave alternating current positive and negative half-wave, the X80 steel produced cathode and anode polarization, which resulted in the partial dissolution of Fe and the precipitation of H; The negative half-wave AC interference will lead to hydrogen evolution and hydrogen induced anodic dissolution, and the pitting pits will be sharp, while under the positive half-wave interference, only anodic dissolution will occur, and the resulting pitting pits will be concave. The corrosion products produced on the surface of X80 steel under different waveforms of AC interference were not consistent: under the interference of full wave and positive half wave, the corrosion products were loose and cracked without a-FeOOH, and the corrosion products on the surface of X80 steel were denser under negative half-wave AC interference. The corrosion product exists a-FeOOH, which has a certain protective effect on the matrix.
