南海東北部混合層深度對(duì)熱帶氣旋海鷗和鳳凰的響應(yīng)

【摘要】:利用Argo浮標(biāo)和多源衛(wèi)星遙感獲取的溫度、鹽度剖面數(shù)據(jù)和海表面溫度(sea surface temperature,SST)、海表面風(fēng)場(chǎng)等數(shù)據(jù),結(jié)合美國(guó)國(guó)家環(huán)境預(yù)報(bào)中心(National Centers for Environmental PredictionⅡ,NCEPⅡ)再分析資料,研究了南海東北部混合層深度(mixed layer depth,MLD)對(duì)2014年9月中下旬相繼過(guò)境的熱帶氣旋"海鷗"(臺(tái)風(fēng))和"鳳凰"(熱帶風(fēng)暴)的響應(yīng)。結(jié)果表明,受"海鷗"和"鳳凰"過(guò)境時(shí)的"風(fēng)泵"作用,海-氣界面向上進(jìn)入大氣的最大凈熱通量由170W·m~( 2)升高至400W·m~( 2),引起SST最大降溫達(dá)到3.02℃。在時(shí)間尺度上,后續(xù)的"鳳凰"使"海鷗"引發(fā)的"冷跡"持續(xù)超過(guò)10天,出現(xiàn)SST降溫的"疊加效應(yīng)"。"海鷗"過(guò)境1天后,其"冷跡"MLD從23m加深至50m;而"鳳凰"過(guò)境8h后,風(fēng)應(yīng)力驅(qū)動(dòng)的離岸埃克曼輸送引發(fā)了沿岸上升流,導(dǎo)致臺(tái)灣西南部近岸海域MLD從31m加深至91m。熱帶氣旋過(guò)境后,在混合層內(nèi),剖面鹽度遲于剖面溫度達(dá)到充分均勻,且鹽度恢復(fù)快于溫度,揭示混合層響應(yīng)的"時(shí)滯效應(yīng)"。在空間分布上,MLD與SST在兩個(gè)熱帶氣旋路徑右側(cè)(沿其移動(dòng)方向)的變化幅度均大于左側(cè),而"冷跡"內(nèi)MLD的不均勻加深,甚至變淺,可能揭示了下層冷水因埃克曼抽吸在上升流與下降流之間轉(zhuǎn)換而被抬升到不同高度。
