Argo、GTSPP與WOD數(shù)據(jù)集及其應用中需注意的若干問題

【摘要】:數(shù)據(jù)集整體的時空覆蓋率制約了海洋科學研究的時空尺度,而海洋儀器的性能和觀測方式直接決定了海洋數(shù)據(jù)的可靠性。以觀測儀器作為主要衡量指標,結合數(shù)據(jù)集的時空覆蓋率,對以溫度和鹽度為數(shù)據(jù)集主體的自持式拉格朗日環(huán)流剖面觀測(Argo)數(shù)據(jù)集、全球溫鹽剖面數(shù)據(jù)集(GTSPP)、世界海洋數(shù)據(jù)集(WOD)進行分析和比對,確定了三者關系:Argo和GTSPP都是WOD的數(shù)據(jù)源,而GTSPP中包含了Argo實時數(shù)據(jù)的80%。在此基礎上研究確定了目前溫鹽數(shù)據(jù)的主要觀測儀器為Argo浮標、XBT和CTD,并對這三種儀器的誤差來源和量級進行詳細分析:由于全球自動觀測與傳輸需求,Argo數(shù)據(jù)存在電子信號不穩(wěn)定導致的隨機誤差,而且在高緯度強溫躍層地帶出現(xiàn)較強的虛假鹽度尖峰,再是自由漂移的特性導致1%~2%鹽度剖面漂移超過0.02 PSS-78;由于下降方程的不斷演變,全球半數(shù)XBT數(shù)據(jù)提供者并未提供儀器型號,導致數(shù)據(jù)整體的可靠性下降;由于CTD基本采用船載觀測,因此成本高、共享數(shù)據(jù)少且多集中近海。因此在對全球溫鹽數(shù)據(jù)進行應用時,應綜合考慮觀測儀器的可靠性和時空覆蓋率,有效實現(xiàn)對資料本身誤差和真實海洋現(xiàn)象的甄別。
[Abstract]:The space-time coverage of the whole data set restricts the space-time scale of marine scientific research, and the performance and observation mode of marine instruments directly determine the reliability of marine data. Taking the observational instrument as the main measure index and combining the spatial and temporal coverage of the data set, the self-sustaining Lagrangian circulation profile observation data set with temperature and salinity as the main body is studied. The global temperature profile data set (GTSPP) and the world ocean data set (WODs) are analyzed and compared, and it is determined that the three relationships: Argo and GTSPP are the data sources of WOD, and the GTSPP contains the real-time data of Argo. On this basis, the main observation instruments of temperature and salt data are determined as Argo buoy XBT and CTD, and the error source and order of error of these three instruments are analyzed in detail: due to the requirement of global automatic observation and transmission, Argo data exist. Random errors caused by the instability of electronic signals, Moreover, strong false salinity spikes appeared in the high-latitude and strong thermocline zones, and the characteristic of free drift resulted in the drift of 1% 2% salinity profile exceeding 0.02 PSS-78.Because of the continuous evolution of the descent equation, half of the global XBT data providers did not provide the instrument type. The reliability of the data as a whole is reduced, and the CTD uses shipborne observation, so it has high cost, less shared data and more concentrated offshore. Therefore, in the application of global temperature and salt data, the reliability and space-time coverage of observational instruments should be considered synthetically to effectively distinguish the errors of the data itself and the real ocean phenomena.
