POM模式在日本南部黑潮路徑變異研究中的應(yīng)用

【摘要】:日本南部黑潮路徑變異對北太平洋地區(qū)的氣候和環(huán)境具有顯著的影響,對黑潮路徑變異的研究具有重要的意義。本文利用POM(Princeton Ocean Model)數(shù)值模式模擬了日本南部黑潮的路徑變異情況,分析了黑潮大彎曲路徑形成的可能機制。研究結(jié)果表明,當(dāng)黑潮處于非大彎曲路徑時,相對位勢渦度的平均值呈現(xiàn)遞減趨勢,說明日本南部低位勢渦度水在不斷積累,這樣會使得四國再循環(huán)流的強度增強,迫使黑潮保持平直路徑,同時,近岸黑潮垂直流速剪切增大,斜壓不穩(wěn)定性的作用也逐漸增大;當(dāng)黑潮從非大彎曲路徑向大彎曲路徑過渡時,再循環(huán)流強度的減弱會導(dǎo)致黑潮的流速剪切減小。根據(jù)海表高度異常場以及海洋上層流場信息發(fā)現(xiàn),近岸黑潮附近的氣旋渦會隨著再循環(huán)流區(qū)域反氣旋渦的東側(cè)向南運動,最終導(dǎo)致黑潮大彎曲的發(fā)生。分析渦流的能量,結(jié)果顯示,黑潮大彎曲路徑的形成與斜壓不穩(wěn)定性密切相關(guān)。
[Abstract]:The Kuroshio path variation in southern Japan has a significant impact on the climate and environment in the North Pacific and is of great significance to the study of Kuroshio path variation. In this paper, the POM(Princeton Ocean Model is used to simulate the Kuroshio path variation in southern Japan. The possible mechanism of the formation of the Kuroshio great bend path is analyzed. The results show that the mean value of relative potential vorticity decreases when the Kuroshio is in the non-large bend path, indicating that the low potential vorticity water is accumulating continuously in southern Japan. This will increase the intensity of the recirculation flow and force the Kuroshio to maintain a straight path. At the same time the vertical velocity shear of the Kuroshio increases and the effect of baroclinic instability increases gradually. When the Kuroshio transitions from a non-large curved path to a large curved path, the intensity of the recirculating current decreases the velocity shearing of the Kuroshio. Based on the information of the sea surface height anomaly field and the upper ocean current field, it is found that the velocity shearing of the Kuroshio will decrease. The vortex near the Kuroshio on the shore will move southward along the east side of the reverse vortex in the recirculating flow region, resulting in the occurrence of the great curvature of the Kuroshio. The analysis of the energy of the vortex shows that, The formation of the Kuroshio great bend path is closely related to baroclinic instability.
