【摘要】：在歷次科技革命的推動下,地圖由曾經(jīng)的無所不能的珍稀品逐漸演變成無所不在的生活必需品,服務(wù)于不斷增加的移動人口,而地圖學(xué)依然是制作和使用地圖的科學(xué)、藝術(shù)和技術(shù)。本文重訪地圖學(xué)4個恒常的核心議題:何為地圖,地圖何用,如何制圖,誰在制圖,筆者回顧了自20世紀(jì)70年代計算機(jī)引入地圖學(xué)以來地圖品種、地圖功能價值、制圖流程以及制圖者角色的發(fā)展過程,舉例說明貫穿其中的恒常性和易變性,并指出在云計算平臺支持下,一個可持續(xù)的制圖生態(tài)環(huán)境正在形成。
[Abstract]:Driven by previous technological revolutions, maps have evolved from an omnipotent rarity to omnipresent necessities of life, serving a growing mobile population, and cartography remains the science of making and using maps. Art and technology This paper revisited four core topics of cartography: what is map, how to map, who is cartography. The author reviews map variety and map function value since the introduction of cartography by computer in 1970s. The mapping process and the development process of the role of cartographer illustrate the constancy and variability that run through it, and point out that a sustainable mapping ecological environment is being formed with the support of cloud computing platform.
