巴丹吉林沙漠東南緣砂楔年代及其環(huán)境意義

【摘要】:巴丹吉林沙漠東南緣新近發(fā)現(xiàn)的多處砂楔群和融凍褶皺,分別形成于砂礫石層和湖相沉積地層中,楔內(nèi)充填物的光釋光年齡證明其是末次冰期和晚冰期的產(chǎn)物.巴丹吉林沙漠在末次冰期和晚冰期時(shí)處于多年凍土帶,年平均氣溫約為-3~-6℃,較現(xiàn)在降溫約12~15℃.其時(shí),整個(gè)阿拉善高原與緯度多年凍土帶和青藏高原凍土區(qū)相連接,沙漠腹地及周邊的沙丘應(yīng)處于凍土狀態(tài),沙丘的移動(dòng)和風(fēng)沙地貌發(fā)育均會(huì)受到影響.在冷期,巴丹吉林沙漠很有可能相當(dāng)于冰凍圈氣候,前人關(guān)于中國北方沙漠非凍土區(qū)的認(rèn)識(shí)值得商榷.
