考慮粒間滾動阻力的CFD-DEM流-固耦合數(shù)值模擬方法

【摘要】:在離散元(DEM)和計算流體動力學(xué)(CFD)程序基礎(chǔ)上,運(yùn)用流-固相互作用力方程建立三維CFD-DEM細(xì)觀耦合數(shù)值模擬模型。CFD-DEM的控制方程包括流體-顆粒相互作用力方程、CFD的流體和DEM的顆粒運(yùn)動方程。其中,考慮到土顆粒的形狀效應(yīng),引入顆粒滾動阻力機(jī)制,介紹了適用性較強(qiáng)的滾動阻力模型。在開源耦合程序CFDEM的框架下,定制CFD開源程序Open FOAM與DEM開源程序LIGGGHTS之間的雙向耦合,實現(xiàn)基于顆粒細(xì)觀的流-固耦合計算。通過砂堆和砂土滲流的模擬分別驗證了所嵌入的滾動阻力模型的有效性及耦合模型的可行性。模擬結(jié)果表明,圓柱土體中向上滲流流速與水力梯度關(guān)系與經(jīng)典的Ergun理論解接近;耦合模型中所引入的顆粒間滾動阻力模型能夠很好地反映顆粒形狀對砂堆形成休止角和土體堆積孔隙率的影響。
[Abstract]:On the basis of discrete element design (DEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) programs, Using the fluid-solid interaction force equation, the three-dimensional CFD-DEM mesoscale coupled numerical simulation model. The governing equation of CFD-DEM includes fluid and particle motion equations of CFD and Dem. Considering the shape effect of soil particles, the rolling resistance model is introduced. In the framework of open source coupling program CFDEM, the bidirectional coupling between open FOAM of CFD and LIGGHTS of Dem open source program is customized to realize fluid-solid coupling calculation based on particle meso. The effectiveness of the embedded rolling resistance model and the feasibility of the coupling model are verified by the simulation of sand pile and sand seepage respectively. The simulation results show that the relationship between the upward seepage velocity and the hydraulic gradient in the cylindrical soil is close to the classical Ergun theoretical solution. The rolling resistance model introduced in the coupling model can well reflect the effect of particle shape on the angle of repose formation of sand pile and the accumulation porosity of soil.
